Privacy and warmth make this home unique and relaxing as you enjoy 1900 sq. ft. on the 7th hole of the Tahquitz Creek Golf Course with mountain views that go on forever. Only one of 2 houses on the cul de sac! Ultimate privacy. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully equipped house is your home away from home.

Start your mornings off by watching the sunrise from the lovely covered patio overlooking the over sized pool with a lounging shelf. Breakfast never tasted so good as you watch the sunrise over the mountains while you enjoy your coffee and fresh orange juice – yes, citrus trees on the property! Oranges, lemons, grapefruit – yours to enjoy in season.

After enjoying a day of limitless activities the area has to offer, come home to relax by the pool, challenge your friends to a game of shuffleboard by the pool, watch TV on the flat screen TVs, surf the web with the high speed internet access or tell all your friends back home “wish you were here” with unlimited US and Canada long distance calling. Or simply gaze into the fire from large comfortable living room.

When you are not out enjoying one of the area’s great restaurants, you can prepare a simple meal or an entire gourmet dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with recessed LED lighting that includes a built in stainless steel wine cooler. Dinner can be served in the dining room with its wall of glass that overlooks the patio and pool or for just a quick bite, there is seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. And you can enjoy every meal al fresco at the outside dining table that seats 6.

At the end of a great day whether you have spent it playing golf at any of the nearby golf courses, hiked or biked, played tennis, been antiquing, shopping at El Paseo or the nearby outlet mall, won or lost your fortune at the casino, enjoyed any number of museums or art galleries, the Aerial Tramway or the Living Desert, you will be happy to retire to one of the inviting bedrooms with high thread count sheets and designer bed covers.

You will want to spend time relaxing on the patios, soaking up some sun lounging by the pool or simply enjoying the unobstructed views of the golf course and mountains.

You can’t beat this house for location…an hour from Riverside/San Bernadino or 2 hours from Orange County, LA or San Diego and in south PS where the wind doesn’t blow. Close to shopping, banks and ATMs, restaurants, public and private golf courses and tennis, every recreational activity that you can think of, churches, theaters, PS library…a weekend just won’t do. Please Note: Out of respect for our non-smoking guests, we cannot accept any bookings from smokers. This also includes friends or guests of the persons whose names appear on the rental agreement. Any costs incurred from a violation of this rule will be deducted from the damage deposit with no exceptions.

Palm Springs delight!

I started my stay in Palm Springs with 2 girlfriends. We just loved the house! Three bedrooms so we each had our space. Great kitchen - we enjoyed so much we only went out for dinner one time in 8 nights! When we weren't playing golf, the backyard with a pool and golf course and mountain views was where we spent much of our time.

My girlfriends left and then my husband came down. We stayed for another 9 nights and we only went out to dinner 2 nights. It was a relaxing stay and when it got hot we just lived in the pool.

We'd recommend this home 100 percent. We're already talking about going back next year!!!

Great location, best vacation spot!

Wonderful updated Mid-Century Modern home situated on a quiet crescent on the Tacquitz Creek Golf Course. This spacious home has everything you could want in a vacation rental. Beautiful large kitchen, gas range with pot filler,wine fridge, large dining space, pool and beautiful deck area. We had fresh grapefruit every day and could watch sunrise and sunset from our covered patio. This home is close to all Palm Springs restaurants and amenities and still a short drive to Palm Desert Loved our time here!!

Sun, Fun, Relax...

We escaped to Bill and Cathryn's oasis during our Spring Break, April 1-8. Wow!!! Their oasis was everything we needed for relaxation. From the pool, to the outdoor area, we were able to get away from our busy schedules and enjoy everything the desert has to offer. The house is BIG and everyone was happy with the accommodations. The Tahquitz Creek golf resort has one of the best golf deals in the entire valley and the house sits on the #8 tee box of the Legends Course. Cathryn replied to all of our questions quickly. This was a huge plus. Book your next trip to the desert and Bill and Cathryn's oasis without hesitation.

Roomy and Comfortable House

Overall, this is a great house to rent. 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. House is very clean. The kitchen is new and beautiful, completely stocked for cooking. Big back yard with nice weber grill and big pool(no heat though). Nice patio furniture for outdoor eating. 1 car garage also came in handy (especially when it's hot outside). Close to the airport, but noise isin't bad.

The only thing we recommend is changing out the 2 green chairs in the family room(not very comfy)and getting the jacuzzi jets working. This is also pet friendly which is great for vacationing with your pets.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the 5 star review. We don't disagree with you about the chairs in the family room. Just as a FYI, the pool and spa were completely re-done with all new pool equipment/heater in the spring of 2016. The spa is fully functioning and may be used by prior written agreement. Glad the doggies liked the big back yard.

Close to all the downtown attractions in Palm Springs, close to the airport, shopping, banks/ATMs, and every imaginable recreational activity.

Blues and a brew every Friday and Saturday night on the patio at Shanghai Red's/The Fisherman's Market on Indian Canyon. THE best Baja Fish Tacos (try them grilled) and spicy shrimp - not on the menu. Ask for it, you won't be disappointed.

Woody's Burgers, new, larger location on South Palm Canyon, um um...not to be missed. Blue cheese sliders - live entertainment there most nights. Eggs Benedict at Lulu's or Spencer's - try the patio at Spencer's - it is so charming.

Try the Filetto at the bar/patio at Momma Gina's in Palm Desert. Happy Hour pricing everyday from 4-9 - VERY reasonably priced pasta dishes and oh, so good.

Thai Smiles - any one of the valley's locations. Thai food at it's best.

We actually do more than eat out when we go there. Just so many things to see, places to go and fun activities. Palm Springs VillageFest EVERY Thursday on South Palm Canyon from around 6 or 7 'til 10 p.m. All sorts of vendors from food, to flowers, to artisans and entertainers. And check out the certified Farmer's Market every Saturday morning from 8:00 - 12:30 p.m. adjacent to the Camelot Theatres on 401 S. Palvilion Way in the summer and 2300 E. Baristo Road Oct - June. Take a hike, ride a bike, have a picnic at any of the areas parks - Sunrise, Demuth or Ruth Hardy - shady spots with picnic tables. Watch semi-pro winter league baseball at the Palm Springs baseball stadium.


Spend the afternoon gallery hopping and enjoying fine art, sculptures, and unique boutiques on Palm Canyon Drive. Check out the frequent art fairs held in Francis Stevens Park and Sunrise Park.


Palm Springs has 350 days of sunshine every year. That just may be the reason why everyone is in such a good mood.


Free court time is available at some of the city’s best locations: DeMuth Park, Palm Springs High School, and Ruth Hardy Park.


Get a glimpse into the lives of the ancient Cahuilla Indians at downtown’s Agua Caliente Cultural Museum Information Center located at the Village Green Heritage Center. Phone: 760-323-0151.


The 13,000 acre Coachella Valley Preserve has springs, dunes, mesas, hiking, and riding trails. Phone: 760-343-1234.

And Joshua Tree National Park at 29 Palms is less than an hour's drive away.


There are continually changing special events, musicians, and jam sessions at Las Casuelas Terraza, Blue Coyote Grill, Melvyn’s Restaurant, The Purple room, Shanghai Reds, Woody's Burgers, the Village Pub, and other food/music venues.

So much to do and so much to explore - you will need to keep coming back to check everything off the list.
