About Thomas Fitzgerald
I am one of the proud owners of this Bay Head colonial. This property is shared between myself and my two sisters and two brothers. I am the primary caretaker of this house as it is only a short drive from my home in Point Pleasant Borough. For me the best moments of the summer come after a day on the beach, firing up the grill in the backyard on a warm summer night and enjoying a meal with family and good friends.
Thomas Fitzgerald purchased this House in 1938
Why Thomas Fitzgerald chose Bay Head
This home has been in my family for four generations and together we have enjoyed many family reunions over the years there. My bothers, sisters and I have fond memories of spending our summers working on the boardwalk and enjoying being down the shore in our youth. My daughters and their cousins still enjoy walking to the beach or playing an occasional game of Monopoly on the back porch before dinner. This home holds a special place in each of our hearts and we are happy to be able to share the joys of this home and the experience that comes with it.
What makes this House unique
This house has the charm of a older home featuring large open rooms without sacrificing modern conveniences. With newer appliances, including washer/dryer, wifi and quiet cooling system, this home offers the amenities of a modern house with the character of a traditional enduring home.

What a wonderful trip!
This was a beautiful historic home with ample indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering, a large backyard for the kids to play, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a beautiful cedar outdoor shower. The home was a very short walk to the beach (less than a block), and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owner was a pleasure to rent from and very thoughtfully included a list of his favorite restaurants and things to do in the area along with the eight beach passes. Point Pleasant Beach hosts fireworks on Thursday nights and they could easily be seen from the front porch or beach. A great house and a wonderful, memorable vacation!
The house is Located just a short drive to Point Pleasant Jenkinson's Boardwalk which includes many amusements and night life. In Bay Head are 3 Restaurants, Shops and Mueller's Bakery.
