About isabella Levaux

I'm a French Belgian architect and I live with my family in San Francisco , in this house, except in summer, where I go back to Paris, and yours.

isabella Levaux purchased this apartment in 2006

Why isabella Levaux chose San Francisco

We fell in love with San Francisco Victorian houses and definitely wanted to live in one of these.

What makes this apartment unique

We love all the period details, the 'doll house' quality, and the neighborhood is great too. Alamo Square is one block away.

spacious, artsy, unusual home

  • 4 of 5

Isabella is a gracious and generous hostess, and her home is very unique, full of vintage décor, and well located. We had 3 adults, two teens, and our 5-year-old grandson, who joined us one night for a sleepover, loved the rocking bed, rope swing, and all the fun wooden toys. Two of the beds are lofts, and we did need to borrow a blow up mattress as my granddaughter did not want to sleep in a loft.

Unique apartment in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

Some friends and I stayed at this apartment while in town for a wedding, and I could not recommend it more. It was a perfect location for seeing the sights and easy to get to wedding events all over the city. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. The apartment itself is well laid out and very charming.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to stay in someone's private home and we can only say that it was the most enjoyable event. Plenty of room for a family like ours, Victorian architecture, right next door to the park and major city center. Isabella was very helpful with orienting our stay and providing us with information on the local color.

This is a typical Victorian , who is 130 years old. This is not a high end hotel. It's pretty comfortable if you're looking for something typical in San Francisco and can work a few quirks.
