Stunning View. Incredible hospitality.
Genuinely helpful and friendly host. Beautiful and newly refurbished. Parking accessible. Not walking distance to Amalfi, but several transportation options. Grand deck for time on the porch. Highly recommended
All around excellent stay. Perfect host, great facilities.
We stayed in Conca dei Marini 3 days. The location was very central on the Amalfi coast. The appartement is completely renovated with new materials. Access is good. Parking is free. Little extras and additions were very appreciated. Great stay! Highly recommended!! Would return definitely.
Amazing view, amazing place, and Gioacchino was an amazing host.
Property was very clean, very quiet, had updated amenities and an amazing view of the Mediterranean. A short drive to both Amalfi and Positano. Gioacchino was a very caring host. He communicated frequently before we arrived, provided lots of good recommendations, area information. directions and maps after we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Le Anfore. With the terrain, there are a number of steps to get you up to the door if you walk up from the lower street. But, climbing steps is pretty common on the Amalfi Coast. Thank you Gioacchino!
Amazing terrain and an awesome host!
Very pleased with the place - just as pictured, updated and comfortable. Gioacchino (the owner) is an awesome host. When you check in, he provided maps of the entire coast along with suggestions on where to eat, hike, tour, and brief history of the coast.
Conca dei Marini is right between two must-see towns, Amalfi and Positano. Take a morning hike along the Path of the Gods and take the steps into Positano. Then bus into Amalfi for some shopping.
The best way to get around is to rent a (small) car but beware, if you are a tentative driver or not comfortable with sharp turns along the cliffs and VERY narrow roads, the bus/taxis are for you. Buses run frequently during the day and less frequently at night. Taxis are somewhat expensive.
Overall, an extraordinary experience. Conca dei Marini is a beautiful small town with tons of character and very nice people. We will definitely be coming back!

Extraordinary views! Great local restaurants! Excellent host!!
Quintessentially Italian accomodations with a great host - Gioacchino! The apartment accomodated 5 of us without a problem. Fully furnished, clean and inviting, we could not have asked for more! Close to some of the best restaurants we have eaten in Amalfi, and right between Positano and Amalfi, the apartment is ideally situated to provide the relaxation at the end of a long day visiting all the popular destinations. We easily drove from where we were to Positano, Ravello, Maiori, Amalfi, Sorrento etc with no problems and these sites were also easily accessible by public transport from where we were. (Did we mention there is free parking nearby!! A definite plus)
Gioacchino welcomed us immediately, and proceeded to give us all the nearby places to see and how to get to them. A great plus as we did not know the area well. He was always available and reminded us of any great events that were occurring in the town of Conca dei Marini and surrounding areas. During our stay, the town held the SantaRosa Conca Festival where the Sfogliatella Santarosa pastry was celebrated and I wish we could take all the pastries back to Canada with us!!!!
The only regrets we have is that we could not stay longer to enjoy the beautiful terrace with the great views and the fantastic hospitality of Gioacchino and the town of Conca dei Marini.
All about the view and the location
I researched heavily before finding a holiday rental on the Amalfi coast, as we were travelling all the way from Australia. Our prerequisites were something with an uninterrupted ocean view- in our minds we weren't as worried about the inside, as we'd be spending all our time at home on the terrace. And that we did. As pictured, this property has a breathtaking view of what quickly came to be our favourite part of the Amalfi coast. We explored the entire region, as we had a car- and found we were happy to return home to Conca Dei Marini after busy days in Amalfi and Positano where we were surrounded by tourists.
The immediately surrounding area has an amazingly quiet, but friendly atmosphere- and there is a restaurant a 5 minute walk from the property with terrace dining called "La Bonta Del Capo" that did the best pizzas we have ever had (for about 5€). We loved this place.
There is a small grocery store nearby. But it is expensive. I would recommend doing a bigger shop for supplies at a major grocery store before arriving to the Amalfi coast, if possible.
There are a number of stairs to get to this property, which you must be prepared for anywhere on Amalfi coast anyway.
We had parking for our hire car, that the friendly host Gio showed us, which we were allowed to use for our stay.
The only small negative point was that there was no iron/ironing board in the property. We did not bring this to the hosts attention, as we worked around it. I'm sure if we did, he would have sorted it out for us.
Also given that this is a coastal holiday destination, it would be good if the house came with beach towels for guest use. This was easily overcome by buying a couple of Turkish towels on the local beach at Conca Dei Marini for 10€ each (make sure you haggle- they sell for 30€ on Capri).
All in all, a great stay and we would love to return at some stage- as we absolutely fell in love with the property, and the area.
The host was fabulously friendly and helpful as well. This holiday was all we hoped it would be.
