This ground floor unit offers extremely convenient access to street parking, and a living-room picture window with a singular view of Camelback Mountain. The historic architectural style and character of the Granada community offers guests a unique glimpse into Scottsdale's popularity as a resort destination.
This unit was perfect for Spring Training in Old Town Scottsdale. It is in a nice neighborhood in a cool building, was equipped better than any VRBO I have stayed in and the owner was very attentive. i highly recommend this rental.
We stayed here with our young children for just over a week. The location on the corner was awesome! Close to parking for easy loading and unloading, there was a gate so I didn't have to worry about kids escaping to the street. Kids had fun picking oranges, running in the grass and swimming in the pool. There was a great variety of movies for times when we couldn't be out. The location was excellent, close to everything we could ask for. As mentioned in another review there was all the supplies you might need in the kitchen and for any cleaning up. The home is clean and simple. We couldn't have found a better place for our stay in Scottsdale. It would be perfect for both a short and long visit. Blen was helpful and quick to answer any questions that came up. Really wonderful!
Blen's condo at the "Granada" is fully remodeled, but in a wonderfully 'retro' well-maintained 1950's complex, which is quiet and cozy with only 24 small units (with individual exterior entrances, no common interior lobby). This unit has an open kitchen/ living area, with all new furnishings and appliances, and featuring a terrific large flat screen TV, with cable plus Apple streaming options. Also, all the cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutlery and dish towels you could possibly need, as well as cleaning supplies and paper products, all very orderly and organized.
The two bedrooms have 1 queen bed each, large closets, and very tasteful premium bed linens. The updated tile bath is very neat and clean, with adequate space, good storage drawers and good water pressure. Plenty of new towels are provided.
This is probably one of the best units in the complex, because of its location on a corner with additional windows and therefore lots of natural light. The smallish grounds are dominated by a medium-sized pool, heated to a comfortable temperature at the end of February. Orange and lemon trees are on the property, with fruit free for the picking.
There is a communal coin-op laundry room across the yard, with ample numbers of machines. Detergent was made available in the apartment.
Parking is easy on the street immediately adjacent to the condo unit, but perhaps THE best thing about the condo is its location in Old Town. If you enjoy this charming part of Scottsdale, all of the myriad restaurants, galleries, museums and the upscale mall are accessible with 5 to 20 minutes on foot. The brand-new Western Spirit ("Museum of the West") is only 2 blocks away. And a free trolley service also circulates throughout this same area.
Our landlord, Blen, was exceptionally accommodating and the many amenities included were very much appreciated. This was an all-around wonderful and stress-free vacation experience.

The following fee schedule shall determine the application of Cancellation Charges:
(1) For cancellations occurring more than 60 days prior to Check-in Date, there is no Cancellation Charge.
(2) For cancellations occurring 16-60 days prior to Check-in Date, a Cancellation Charge of One Half of the Base Fee shall apply, and Occupant shall entitled to be refunded One Half of the Base Fee.
(3) For cancellations made 15 days or less prior to Check-in Date, there are no refunds.
