We have owned this home for two years after owning a home in east Falmouth for 5 years. This will be our first adventure renting out our home. We both work full time and have teenage/college aged children who also work during the summer so getting down there can be difficult for us because of everyone's schedule. Hope to share the home we love so much with others.
Jeannine Sudol purchased this bungalow in 2013
This home is within easy walking distance to downtown Falmouth and is right across the street from the bike path so there is no loading bikes onto a car to take a ride. We ride to Woods Hole and to Chappaquoit beach all the time. It sits on a very quiet, charming street.
We have spent a week in Falmouth the past 5 years and have always rented a cottage mostly with Homeaway. This rental is by far the best we have rented in the Falmouth area. Their cottage is clean, fully equipped, decorated unbelievably and the best of locations. The neighborhood is great for walking or bike riding and is within easy walking to downtown Falmouth with its great restaurants. Don't miss the French bakery or Anenjo for Mexican food. Another plus is its location to the parking lot of the bus to Woods Hole ferry. You can leave your car at the cottage and walk 5 minutes to the lot. The convenience to Martha's Vineyard is wonderful. We plan to return.
We absolutely loved our stay here and have only 100% great things to say about the house and our stay there. WE've been renting houses on the Cape for the past 8 years and this was by far our favorite place to stay. The location is key - within walking distance of town and the bike trail and even the beach if you don't mind a bit of a walk. I went running every morning and it was only 1.5 miles to get to the beach - absolutely beautiful! And in spite of being so close to town and RT 28, the house is so quiet - we enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings reading in the backyard. Beds were clean and comfortable, everything in the house worked as expected, and the host is just lovely to work with. We'll be back!
The house was just perfect. It had everything you would want. Great position for walking into town and opposite the bus station for getting to Martha's Vineyard. Owners We're very helpful, .thanks for letting us stay in your charming little home.
We returned this year and had an amazing week! Once again the house was perfect… Incredibly clean and well stocked with every amenity imaginable!! So convenient to everything! Looking forward to next year already! GREAT SUMMER RENTAL!
Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely bungalow. Well appointed and impeccably clean. No detail missed down to custom covers on the furniture that are cleaned between each guest. Details are Jeannine's talents and the love for her home shows. We watered her flowers at her request which we enjoyed doing. We felt like we were "home" and hope that she will allow us to stay there next summer. We did not want to leave.
We booked 9 days at this great VRBO the week before Labor Day. On the first day of our trip, I took a fall and broke 3 ribs. The owner was extremely helpful in assisting me with a recommendation for a hospital. I don't recommend spending your vacation this way, but the house could not have been better for the rest and relaxation I was prescribed. The house has everything you can possibly need. My husband rented a bike from the shop around the corner and biked on the great trails just minutes from the house. We drove up the coast and sat on different beaches every evening to watch the sunset. The restaurants in town were excellent. We will definitely go back.
