Sweet little apartment second story in craftsman cottage home.

Our host couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. Terry, gave me a call the day we were to be moved out, accept I thought we had one more day. She called to let me know she needed to get in and to start cleaning for the next renters. OMG we were sightseeing about 45 min away! She was so understanding. She even offered for us to stay the extra day in the down stairs where she lives. We just felt so cared for. We were able to stay the last evening with our son and his fiancé who had just moved into their new home. Off to Walmart we went to buy a blow up mattress. It all worked out fantastic. I would recommend this sweet one bedroom cottage apartment. In fact one night our other son who also lives in the area but a bit further from Hendersonville joined us for an evening, sleeping on the comfey couch, Terry was fine with this as well. Her place is within walking distance to down town so we had a wonderful time going to the Apple Festival and finding a great restaurant away from the crowds right on Main street. It was a lovely vacation. I recommend if you're a couple looking for a place within walking distance to downtown Hendersonville Terry's place may just fit the bill.

Thanks again for you hospitality Terry.

Quiet, convenient, and comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

We are a retired couple, and we found this quiet neighborhood very comfortable and convenient for our three-night stay in Hendersonville. Terrye welcomed us on the front porch upon our arrival and got us settled in. Her recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on, and she was also very helpful with all the extra creature comforts she provided. The coffee was excellent, and there were numerous other things for our pleasure and consumption! It was great having our car right out front for the times we needed to drive, and only a few blocks to Main Street when we were on foot. The house is obviously an older home, but we found it very charming, and would definitely recommend it to others, as well as for another visit ourselves.

Appreciated the "game" closet and assorted chocolates! Only suggestion would be stools with backs as it was difficult to sit at the table for any length of time to play games🤗? Would welcome a return visit!

Charming Cottage with everything you need!

  • 5 of 5

Angela and I stayed here for 3 days, using this as a base. Terrye is very attentive to all the details and then some. We were very comfortable hanging out here with no wants. The location is ideal with Downtown Hendersonville a short stroll. We did short trips to Saluda, Tryon, Flat Rock, Chimey Rock, Lake Lure and got in hikes at Dupont Park and Carl Sandburg's estate. All very close to Terrye's place. Terrye was extremely nice, so accomodating and very available if needed.
