Our favorite way to get around for Miami is with Uber.
Chill out before a big night out in the spacious air-conditioned main salon, which features a sofa, easy chairs, dinning table, bar, kitchen, surround-sound with iPod doc, and flat screen TV.
Miami Beach has the ultimate in nightlife, restaurants, bars, pools, and shopping. All are in walking distance from the yacht. Beach amenities include Jet Ski rental, umbrella & lounge chair rental for chilling out.
After a big night out come back to your private yacht with three private staterooms with two Queen sized-beds & two bunk beads, private bathrooms with showers, plenty of closet space, luxurious linens, & curtains and flat screen TV's.

Loud music, boisterous behavior, and parties are not acceptable late night on the outside decks of the yacht. You can party in the spacious salon all night long, but please remember you are in a residential area when you are on the outside decks. The condominium association security monitors the slips and has zero tolerance for unruly behavior.

It was a quite a different experience. Will definitely recommend
This boat could be nice however, it needs work. There were many things broken: blinds in master (had to drape clothes over the window because there are so many bright lights at night), one toilet tripped the breaker every time it was flushed and didn't flush completely, ice maker leaks......lot's of little things. It also has 2 beds that had no coverlet, blanket or comforter and there was nothing other than the sheet to cover with. The other thing we discovered is that there are no facilities associated with the dock. There is a rule of no #2 on the boat and they said to use the public park across the street.....well it is across 5 lanes of traffic, down the street and across the parking lot and it closes at dark. So, if you have to go to the bathroom after dark, the owner suggests you find a nearby hotel or restaurant and sneak in. Overall it was disappointing.
Thanks for your feedback. Again, this is a boat and not a Hotel Room. I informed you about the rules of the Marine Head System in advance of your arrival. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to Miami Beach.
2-16-18 This was such a wonderful amazing experience. The yacht was bigger than I imagine. It was spacious, very clean and updated. The kitchen was a plus and boy did we take advantage. The beach is right across The street which was a plus. While we were there they had an upscaled yacht show which we very much impressive. The air unit kept us very cool in fact we had to turn it off at night. The owner was very informative and prompt about our silly questions. However, please keep in mind it's a yacht ENJOY IT! I will definitely return and already recommending this place. We hit the jackpot with this!
Thanks so much for your visit! We look forward to hosting you next time. Cheers, Tony
Great location and wonderful views/
The location of the docked boat is wonderful...it’s the last boat in the marina so the views down the inter coastal waterway are fantastic.. really nice to sit on the back of the boat with a glass of wine and watch the sunsets and the Crew teams row by, as well as the other boats and Yachts that go by. A fabulous benefit to this location is the Free Trolley that takes you a five mile span—the Trolley runs every 20 minutes and picks up in both directions — you have a free ride to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. There is public beach access about a block away on the opposite side of the street. Even though The marina is on a busy street, we did not hear any traffic noises whilst on the boat. At first glance; the boat is lovely and par for what you would expect for an older boat— being boat owners ourselves we did note some maintenance and cleanliness issues. The stove did not appear to work (good news is there is great pizza delivery with good local pizza)..we were not sure of the potability of the water so water was boiled in the microwave for coffee.. we did not leave food on the counters due to the small ants but chalked that up to marine living. We were told that the toilets on the boat were for #1 only and to use the toilets at the public beach access a block away for #2.. the public beach house was nice enough however it closes at dusk. So for those of you who need to #2 at night..well.. you might need a Plan B—there are no hotels close by—mostly condo buildings. We had an issue with the outer door to the Boat properly closing so that you could put the tumbler lock on it. We emailed Tony and he responded via email quickly however during our 3 night stay the lock was not fixed. We were asked what time we would be checking out on our day of departure and we were asked to take out the garbage as more folks were coming in right behind us and there was no time for a cleaning team..he stated they were bringing their own sheets.. Tony sent a follow up email 2 days after we left asking for photos of the door that wouldn’t close which leads me to believe the door still had not been fixed before the next renters showed up.. would I do it again? Yes... but for the money per night paid I want bottled water in the fridge and the availability of an all access toilet, spotless kitchen and a bit more luxury linens at bath time—no washcloths were provided and the pillows had seen better days. ( and maybe you do want to bring your own sheets..)
Significantly different from land accommodations; responsive owner but boat in poor condition
I would first like to recognize Tony’s responsiveness to initial issues with the boat, especially because he recently had tendon surgery. The air conditioning was not working when some of our party boarded the boat and Tony quickly hired someone to deal with the issue.
Tony also was very responsive on a timely basis to most issues raised by text message during our stay,
However, do not expect to this to be similar to a land stay.
Unexpectedly and not in listing, we were informed by Tony after booking the boatel that we could only go #1 in the toilets and if we had to go #2 we needed to leave the boat and find a public toilet. The nearest public toilet is either 1.5 or 3 blocks away and hardly convenient, especially late at night.
Despite our best efforts to follow these requirements, the system became clogged at the end of our 6 day stay. Adding insult to injury, Tony suggested we owed him $200 to unclog the system for not following rules that were not specified in his listing and can only be attributed to us putting marine toilet paper in the boat system, which is explicitly stated as being OK on signs in the boat.
In addition, there were many issues with making the boat function, including difficulty turning on lights, making the stove work, getting enough towels for the passengers, and getting the shower/tub to drain. We also had trouble getting the shower water to be other than cold. While Tony was helpful on a timely basis on most of these issues it was a constant effort to make the accommodation work. These issues generally are consistent with many boats on which we have stayed, but these were more challenging because they were more frequent, perhaps because this boat appears less well maintained.
We selected the boat, in part, because we could hire it to take us out on the water and Tony was generous enough to hire a very good captain and to extend our trip by 2 hours. However, the boat’s running lights did not function, causing us to have to jury rig lights at night to avoid being stopped by police.
If you are used to boats and all their issues, including challenges with toilets and showers, this is an acceptable experience. Most of our party enjoyed the experience. If these issues are too much for you, stay on land!
Thanks for your feedback. I'll make sure to explain in the future that the Boatel is indeed a Boat. This is an experience in living on the water and can be a challenge for those expecting shore accommodations.
All the Challenges that you described have been resolved, including the boat's Head (AKA Marine Toilet).
I hope your family enjoyed the Charter Experience.
Future Guests are welcome to ask any questions about the Yacht Experience in advance. Additionally, we can offer the yacht for Day or Extended Charters on the water.
Highly recommend staying on the yacht . Tony was very helpful with our questions.
I’ll be back
