We are proud to offer guests to Yellowstone the opportunity to stay in our premier vacation home built in 2014! For anyone wanting the 'mountain country' experience with a comfortable, nostalgic, western flare. The home is located on a 1/2 acre lot in the Lazy Acres rural subdivision, just 8 miles from West Yellowstone. Upon first entering the home, its' open concept kitchen/dining room features 14 foot walls with a double fireplace that separates the great room from the kitchen/dining room. The home is all on one level. Past guests have been in awe of the unique character instilled in the design of this home and the spacious openness and wishing they had planned more vacation time to enjoy the home. With enough beds and permitted for up to 14 people, along with five bathrooms, even large families or small groups will find comfort without feeling cramped. The custom finishes throughout are of reclaimed wood and the earth tone colors incorporated in the décor give it a warm nostalgic feel. The views from the large great room windows and the front patio are of the famous 'Lionhead' Mountain. The home has air conditioning but is not always needed due to cool summer evenings. A gas firepit (available May 1 - November 1) on the large back patio is a great gathering place at the end of the day for s'mores and stories. The home comes with a single-car garage for your use. Our winter guests are just a quarter mile from groomed snowmobile trails, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the national forest. A hot tub is available November 1 through May 1, for guests. The option for our winter guests to purchase premium grade fuel for snowmobiles or vehicles is conveniently right at the home. We built this home with the vacationer in mind.
A spacious 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom vacation home sleeps up to 14.

About Tim & Nancy Heideman, built the home in 2014, and own it
We have lived in West Yellowstone since 1993 and just love all this mountain area has to offer! Having our own construction business known for high quality residential constuction, we built this home with the Yellowstone vacationer in mind. We are very involved with our community and take pride in what our town provides to the people that visit the area.

Why Tim & Nancy Heideman, built the home in 2014, and own it chose Lazy Acres
We love this property because it's peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountains, forests and wildlife. Families have plenty of room to roam freely around the property and can feel comfortable walking the dirt roads in this small residential secluded area.
What makes this House unique
We envisioned sitting on the front patio watching the sun set around Lionhead mountain and relaxing on the back patio someday watching our grandkids around the firepit roasting marshmallows for s'mores. Making unique memories to last a lifetime.

Exceeded our expectations!
This place was perfect for our family Holiday get together. Everything was so clean and perfect. We loved sitting in the hot tub with the cold winter air around us. It was awesome that every bedroom had their own full bath.
We would love to stay here again someday.
This cabin is exactly what we wanted! Absolutely beautiful and Tim and Nancy were so helpful! Plenty of room, clean, and modern. The fireplace was such a treat and every room having it”s own bathroom is such a plus. Only a short drive from town so we didn’t feel to remote. There was a moose wandering around on Christmas Day. So many good things about this cabin!!
Wonderful vacation rental! Loved that everyone had their own bathroom and space. This house is stunning the minute you walk in. We did a lot of cooking and the house had all essential cookware stocked! We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you!
Excellent. Tim, Nancy and Lisa are awesome.
This is our third stay at this property. Can’t say enough about how perfect it is.
Amazing in Every Way
This home was fantastic. The open kitchen, expansive sitting area, two fireplaces, huge windows and back deck were amazing. We loved the privacy of 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The design was well thought out for larger groups traveling together. Beautiful touches, very clean and fantastic location. We hope to return again in the future!
Great family reunion
This home is beautiful and spacious with many features that made our stay wonderful. Five couples each had their own bedroom and bathroom. Also, there were many small things that indicated the owners really cared about their guests and they had a certain pride of ownership. The owners were available by phone/text which was greatly appreciated.
In the heart of Yellowstone Country, our home provides our guests with all the conveniences of home in a lodge setting. Just 5 minutes away from Hebgen Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains full of wildlife. Snow Creek Lodge is just 8 miles away from the Town of West Yellowstone and the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. In our mountainous area, summer daytime temperatures are usually at a comfortable 65-85 degrees and can drop down to the 40's, and sometimes cooler at night. There are great hiking trails in the national forest close to the home. While in West Yellowstone, make sure to visit the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, a not-for-profit wildlife park. Admission is good for two days. The Yellowstone Giant Screen (Imax) Theater is another "don't miss". Winter enthusiasts will appreciate the easy access to groomed snowmobile trails just 1/4 a mile from Snow Creek. The area is great for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Also in the winter the Town of West Yellowstone has an ice-skating rink in the town park. Rentals for all winter activities are available in Town. Our mountain town has two grocery stores, several specialty coffee shops, ice cream shops, restaurants and bars of all sorts, several gas stations and many motels. The Playmill Theater, a live theater is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Our community has a year round population of 1,200 and increases to an estimated 3,100 in the summer. As locals, our favorite time to visit Yellowstone is September and October. The fall colors, wildlife and weather are amazing. This time of year is less crowded than summer. You might even be around for a high school home football or Volleyball game on the weekend. Help cheer on the West Yellowstone Wolverines!! As one of the small schools in Montana, they play 6-man football. It is very fun to watch, with scores you'd think were basketball games.
