Star Dancer was built in 2005, one of the newer condominium projects on the island. The complex is well maintained, quiet, and clean.
There are a total of eight condos in two buildings. Star Dancer 6 is adjacent to the pool in the rear of the complex on the ground floor.
Our complex is less than a block from the beach and less than a one minute walk to Whataburger and other restaurants on one side and just down the block from the Palms restaurant on the beach. This is one of the famous 'Dancer' condominium projects, a favorite of winter Texans and vacationing families in the summer. The unit is professionally decorated and fully equiped.
Queen beds in both bedrooms plus a queen sofa sleeper in the tiled living room. The Berber carpeted master bedroom has an adjoining full bath. The second full bath serves the other bedroom that has a color TV for the kids to watch 'their programs'. Gas grill on front porch and high speed wireless internet.
The pool area is beautifully landscaped and fenced. Only a short walk to one of the best parts of the beach, the condo is away from the busy night spots and offers privacy and seclusion in an eight unit complex.

We fell in love with this property when we saw it. We looked and looked and looked, but kept coming back to Star Dancer #6. We loved that it was right next to the pool and part of a quiet property. All of the owners in this property take pride in their condo and keep the area looking great. We've added our special touch to the inside to keep it modern and comfortable.
We loved staying in this cheerfully decorated condo with assigned, long parking spaces to accommodate boat or camper trailers, and a refreshing pool just outside the patio. Great restaurants and fastfood as well as grocery/necessities stores were within walking distance or a short drive away. Walking to a public beach was also an option, although we chose to drive a couple of miles to the state park so we could park on the beach. The owners were very friendly and offered access to additional amenities like beach toys, floats, and a gas grill. We will definitely be checking availability of this property for our future trips to South Padre.
Had a great stay! Condo is large and clean and furnished with all that you need - including a Kuerig for easy coffee making in the morning and a washer & dryer in the unit. The pool was refreshing and right next to the condo. It's on the first level so no stairs. One of our favorite places to eat - The Palms Cafe - is right down the street on the beach. Walk over for dinner & a drink and walk home. You can walk to huge souvenir shop, liquor store, Whataburger, etc. very easily and market is not too far away either. There is designated parking so that was never an issue. There are rental chairs & umbrellas right at the entrance to the beach or it's easy enough of a walk for you to take your own. This part of the beach is mostly condos, so it is not as crowded. However, there is a water sports rental co. that sets up not too far away on the beach if you wanted added fun! It was perfect! Can't recommend this condo and location enough! And Carlos - owner - is easy to work with and responded to text and emails right away. We look forward to many return trips to this condo!
The Condo is a few minutes walk to the beach and also very close to several popular restaurants. The Condo is clean, neat, and well furnished. The property has a shared clean pool and nice landscaping. I highly recommend staying here!
This condo is located right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants in South Padre. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk. Plenty of sleeping space for our family of 5 and the grill came in handy as we BBQ'd every night while the kids swam in the pool right by the condo.
The owner, Carlos, was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable and everything was in order when we arrived. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is wanting to stay on SPI while vacationing.
My family and I had a very enjoyable weekend here recently. The location is conveniently close to the beach and restaurants. The condo is neatly kept, and very spacious. My niece and 3 yr. old daughter definitely enjoyed the pool the best! Also, contact party that assisted me with this rental was very welcoming and helpful. Will absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family!
Our family stayed in this condo for 3 days/2 nights. It was perfect for us, but could easily sleep a much larger family. We were thrilled with the proximity to the beach, very close walking distance. It was also nice to be able to enjoy the private pool once returning from an all day outing at the beach. The condo itself was very clean. It is fully stocked with kitchen necessities to cook or grill. Bonus: It's within walking distance to some great places to eat. My family can't wait to return!
Our condo is located BEACH SIDE in the middle of South Padre Island. We're a 1-minute walk from a Whataburger and a 5-minute walk from most other restaurants. We are less than one block from the beach and the well-know Palms Cafe. There's a beach access next to the Cafe. We are also close to the convention center and the SPI birding and nature center.
