CERRO GORDO CASA. Welcome to a fresh approach in the genre of Santa Fe homes where whimsical touches reflect the warmth and enchantment of the “city different”. Shades of red and animal prints are accented by a personal art collection that catches you eye at every turn. Add a few pieces of Mexican pottery and artifacts to be embraced by a world of texture and color that lifts your spirits. This is the house for family and friends to gather for celebrations, to watch the games on TV and to walk the friendly environs of the neighborhood. If you want to live like a local, this is the house for you. Set back from the street, you have your privacy especially with the patios either side of the living room. Santa Fe is at your fingertips with Canyon Road just around the corner for galleries and some of our best restaurants and a three-quarters mile walk through the historic district takes you are at the Plaza.

HOTEL-LIKE in its own way, each AQUI home is favored with freshly pressed custom PRATESI linens, fine amenities, gracious and discreet service, professional housekeeping and our special AQUI "Breakfast Basket" for you. For your comfort, all homeowner personal belongings are tucked away and out of sight.

FLOOR PLAN. Of newer construction which supports lots of windows, larger rooms, big closets and higher beamed ceilings, this house invites living on your terms. A very gentle side of steps leads to the main entry. Your immediate response is one of happiness as the you view the antique doors. MASTER SUITE. The king bed commands the room with draperies of deep gray velvet and Sombraje covered light squares. The en suite bath is efficient and open with bath, large shower, Asko stack washer/dryer and large walk-in closet and with an additional entrance for powder room use. LIVING AREAS. The lovely open plan allows an easy flow for all to roam from the living room, dining area around to the kitchen to two side patios. With an up-to-date kitchen that is totally equipped, there is room for food storage in the pantry and the dining area invites dining for at least six. Throw open the patio doors and bring the outside in for soft cool breezes and al fresco dining under the cerulean skies or starry nights. LOWER LEVEL. For a complete separation of space, the lower level has twin beds (can be made for king bed), en suite bath, walk-in closet and private entrance.

You will be in good company as you walk down Palace Ave 3/4 mile to the Plaza or just around the corner to the end of Canyon Road for galleries and restaurants. TRUTH BE TOLD. “I got high-fives from everybody in the family on the choice of Cerro Gordo Casa. It really felt like home and we all looked forward to trading stories at the end of the day over a glass of wine on either patio. The kitchen was great but we never used it except for coffee in the morning because we ate out every day. There was no end to the restaurant chain…….you must try Joseph’s Table! Oh, and the beds were great. We appreciated being met at the house with the keys and AQUI was a delight to work with from beginning to end………they even answer their phone calls promptly.

AQUI SANTA FE WELCOMES YOU. Drive directly to the house where Caroline will meet you with keys and for a brief tour. At departure she is back again to pick up the keys and bid you a fond farewell.

Just a quick note to say thanks again for your kind and responsive accommodation this afternoon. We were both impressed that you so quickly realized that a change of venue might be essential and came up with a happy solution.

As I mentioned, I was a bit exhausted, also juggling supper guests and some other distractions. Fortunately Ben was there to provide you the more gracious communication you deserved.

The Cerro Gordo place is much more workable for us. Besides the cooler space, we always look for a place that is well lit and feels somewhat expansive, so that is a bonus here. Thanks also for holding the original rate.

Just 3/4 mile down the hill and you can join the fun of shopping, great restaurants and culture at the Plaza or Canyon Road! The whole town is your front yard and walking everywhere is excellent. There is hiking close by, rent a bike to tour town, spas are close by.

Love this Happy House and Walked Everywhere!

We go to Santa Fe a couple times a year but had never stayed with AQUI Santa Fe. How did we miss them, they are fantastic and the house was great! Just as Caroline (owner of AQUI) said, it is family perfect. Our boys had the lower level and we enjoyed the upstairs. It was clean, we had everything we needed and Caroline was totally there if we needed anything. Next time, we will try another AQUI house just for fun. Can't wait!

Wonderful home for our holiday visit to Santa Fe!

Cerra Gordo Casa was a perfect spot for our family of four this past holiday. Aqui provides well-appointed interiors that are spotless and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax in or catch a break from our adventures throughout Santa Fe. Our two teen boys had plenty of space to escape to and we loved the proximity to Canyon Rd and the walk along the creek. And Caroline from Aqui made our arrival easy with her in-person welcome. Loved it!

Owner's Response: Having the whol2 family come for Christmas is the best! Cerro Gordo has those wonderful twin beds that makes live easy for children of any age. And just in case that is not enough there is a wonderful new queen sofa bed. For kids who want to wonder off on there own, it is a straight 3/4 mile to the Plaza and right around the corner the other way is the end of Canyon Road with The Tea House, El Farol for some night music and Geronimo's for and exquisite dinner. And for are right on the road to the Santa Fe Ski. It couldn't be more convenient.

Loved the location!

This house deserves big time credit. It was an easy-less- than-- mile walk to the Plaza and just around the corner from the Tea House on Canyon Road which became our regular morning hang out. The house lives really well with a bedroom on the upper level and one on the lower level so there is good privacy. We will be back for sure. Oh. and AQUI is great. The PRATESI sheets were luxurious!

Perfect location

This is the perfect location for any visitor to Santa Fe. You can walk downtown or to Canyon road in minutes. The house is fully equipped and wonderfully maintained. It is a cozy home to come back to after a day of activities. There is a binder that will tell you all you need to know about Santa Fe including the most up to date restaurants and more! We loved it. Caroline is the most attentive concierge!

Owner's Response: There are so many interesting and fun things to do in Santa Fe and over 250 wonderful restaurants so the "Silent Concierge" book gives you some great recommendations to start with. Then, I always love to hear about your new the Bug Museum for kids!
