Very quiet, private location yet adjacent to tropical pool and sand bottom spa.
We have claimed Maui as our favorite island get away for the past 30 years with South Kihei/Wailea being our top location on the Island. We have just completed a large renovation project on the unit that we closed escrow on in January of 2015. The condo we purchased in the L cluster of the Maui Kamaole complex has a beautiful view of the ocean and the West Maui mountains. Our location in the Maui Kamaole complex is close to the tropical pool, sand bottom hot tub, quiet BBQ area and a very short walk to the two tennis courts. It is in a quiet location off the main road, yet only about a five minute walk to Kamaole Beach III and a few steps further to our favorite beaches starting with the Keawakapu Beach. In addition to the beaches, outside the complex it is a short walk to restaurants, night life, food stores in Kihei/Wailea and also to the Wailea shops.
Amenities of L-102 includes the following:
1. A state of the art SICO Queen wall bed in the living room. The master has a California King with all new bedding.
2. New towels/linens have been added.
3. Ceiling fans and new lighting are evident as well as a new A/C in the master.
4. The kitchen dinnerware, glasses, flatware and utensils
are new. The kitchen has a glass tile back splash as well as new stainless steel stove, microwave and dishwasher.
5. The front lanai furniture has been upgraded and my favorite of the whole renovation is the creation of of the private lanai off the master bedroom.
6. A new large flat screen TV (50") is in the living room and a 40" flat screen TV in the master.
7. Much of the furniture is new, however we kept some of the old (which we restored) in order to keep the Hawaiian feel.
8. Updated decor has added color and interest. This was done by adding new or renovated art work and accent walls which provide lovely designer colors.
We have posted a number of pictures showing both the interior of L-102 as well as the two landis, views from the unit and some of the Maui Kamaole amenities.
The benefits of staying at Maui Kamaole are many starting with its great location which is close to the border of Kihei and Wailea. There are many beach access pathways and walkways to the various beaches all along South Kihei Road. Both the roadside walkways and the beaches provide a wonderful place to get in your active walking or running. There is no better way to start a day than a morning walk or run along a beach.
It is also an easy walk to the more commercial part of Kiehi where there are many shops of various kinds and probably an equal number of restaurants and ice cream shops.
The grounds and many pathways of Maui Kamaole are beautiful for peaceful walking. There is a chain of picturesque bridges allowing access to both sides of the property. In our view Maui Kamaole is definitely the premier vacation rental property in Kihei.

Great place to stay in Kihei
We stayed 14 days at this wonderful condo. The condo is very well appointed and has everything you need to enjoy staying and vacationing in Kihei, Maui. The complex is very quiet and private and away from the hubub of the beach front properties. There are amenities so you can grill near the condo. We just loved all the gardens and the view of the ocean and the Puʻu Kukui mountain to the north. We enjoyed seeing and listening to all the birds. The owners are great and responsive. We could not have had a better expereince for our first trip to Maui.

Perfect Spot for R&R
This was our 3rd vacation on Maui but our first stay in unit L102. It proved to be a wonderful condo in a perfect location next to the tropical pool. We stayed Dec. 30-Jan. 13 and will say that's an extremely busy time on the island. Nonetheless, we took advantage of the amazing weather with morning walks and sunsets on the lanai. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!

I've stayed in many Maui Kamaole condos and this is one of my favorites. Very homey, very clean, very well thought out.

We recently stayed in unit L102 and it was exactly as described. Beautifully renovated and well appointed. The king bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Had breakfast every morning on the Lanai with it's beautiful view. The pool right out side the door is awesome. One of the nicest units we have stayed in at the Maui Kamaole.
A little piece of Paradise
VRBO and the owner provided excellent information regarding the property and local amenities prior to our stay. The unit was extremely clean, well maintained, and very well equipped for an island holiday. With a lanai at the front and rear of the unit, wonderful breezes flowed through. Air conditioning is provided, but on our visit we found it unnecessary. This unit is very close to the well maintained large swimming pool. It is very close to sandy beaches, and a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities. The views from the lanai are spectacular, and the Maui Kameole grounds are beautiful and lush. A very comfortable unit for two people or a family of four. It is a great location for holidaying on a budget if you wish to dine in or eat out. We highly recommend this unit and would love to return in the future.
My husband and I are frequent vacationers to Maui and have stayed in several different condos, usually right on the water. L 102 has now become our first choice in lodging. The unit is beautiful, updated and spacious. There was plenty of room for clothes, sporting/ leisure gear and personal items. With suitcases tucked away we could really feel like we lived there for our stay. The amenities were amazing as well. Although steps from the beautiful pool/hot tub and gas bbq area the unit was very quiet and private. We also appreciated the tennis courts in the complex. In years before we had to wait for the crowded public courts or pay high fees to play at the tennis center. So nice to able to play whenever we wanted. All this and great views and just an easy 10 minute walk to some of the best beaches on Maui. We will definitely be returning.
Maui Kamaole is also great place just to relax, read a book and sit by the pool, especially after an active, sun filled day.
