Why Barbara & Dan chose San Miguel
When we first saw this property, it had absolutely no improvements. The only thing it had going for it was the one Oak tree (where we now do our weddings), and it had the potential for good water (from what we could tell with the cottonwoods growing in the creek). But Barbara and her Dad had a vision, and the property was a blank slate.

Relaxing and beautiful cottage
If your looking for a place for total relaxation, away from reality, THIS is the place for you. We loved our 2 night stay, and Barb was nothing but the gracious hostess. She added so many personal touches from cold water waiting for us in refrigerator, brochures for recommended wineries and restaurants in the area to farm fresh eggs from her chickens and homemade jam which she makes waiting for us. We walked around the grounds and wedding venue, and admired the beauty of it all. San Miguel and Paso Robles are close by for wine tasting, restaurants not too far away but we ended up BBQing and drinking/relaxing by the firepit, which overlooks a pond. It was very hard leaving, and we are looking forward to including this gem on our next road trip.
Beautiful space, unique property and incredible hosts!
We loved everything about our stay here!
Such a great place to stay
This is such a great house. Barbara was so accommodating. We arrived late, but had homemade jam, fresh eggs, milk, butter and bread waiting for us. This cute home is unique and close to wineries all around Paso. It is about 35 minutes to Morrow Beach, 50 min to Avila Beach and if you are willing to go a couple minutes more an awesome place to eat is Ember in Arroyo Grande. There is a gas fire pit in the back overlooking the heart shaped pond...so peaceful. We really had a nice time and cannot wait to return.

We rented this cottage along with their other bed and breakfast for our wedding. Owners are so easy to work with and very accommodating. The property is spectacular! We have gotten tons and tons of responses from our wedding guests, they all were very impressed with the venue. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful and tranquil
Wonderful! Beautiful setting with lovely trees. Barbara & Dan are thoughtful and helpful. Enjoyed the wildlife- frogs and quail and bunnies! Quiet and tranquil and loved the patio !
Great hosts, beautiful property!
Barbara was an amazing host! She went above and beyond and way out of her way to accommodate us for a last second trip when she was out of town. She gave us an tour of the home and the entire property, suggested wineries and restaurants to go to, was always available for questions, and even left us some jams made on the farm and wine from a local vineyard.
The property itself is amazing. The cottage itself is cozy and comfortable - perfect for a secluded getaway. The property is on a farm where weddings are thrown so there are beautiful accents and installations everywhere. The farm is huge and has a walkable trail with nice views of surrounding vineyards. The stars at night are also a must see.
Location is perfect - you are in the center of a trail with a million wine tastings on the East Side. You are only a few minute drive away from downtown and any of the vineyards on the West Side.
This is the only place I will ever consider when visiting Paso Robles!!
So glad you enjoyed your stay! We really appreciate the thoughtful and detailed review. We can't wait for you to see the changes and additions to the farm when you guys come back. Thanks for staying, until next time! -Barbara & Dan
