About Amanda Cook

I have lived in Sunriver since January 2000 and raised my children, Nick and Adrianna as a single mom until I met my husband Dan who I married in October 2014. Now I have two more amazing children, Ryan and Justin to share our lives with. My children grew up in what is now the Pine Cone Inn, and my hope is that all who stay will make happy memories in our home that my children and I did. I have been a real estate broker in Sunriver since March 2003 and currently own my own brokerage, Belmontes Realty Group. My husband has also been a real estate broker since 2003 and currently is the Regional Sales Leader and Managing Principal Broker of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NW Real Estate. We live, work, and play here and specialize in helping others do the same whether purchasing or now renting the Pine Cone Inn. We are also very active with our local non denominational church, The Door. My husband and I are youth leaders for Transform Youth Group at Community Bible Church at Sunriver and have started a non profit Water Sports Ministry. We love our community and we are sure you will too when you come to stay here!

Amanda Cook purchased this house in 2004

Why Amanda Cook chose Central Oregon

I vacationed in Sunriver in October 1999 and knew I would live here. I was currently in my third year at Shasta College in Redding, California and newly divorced with a 4 year old son. I quickly finished my last term and moved here on a wing and a prayer with my son in January 2000. I was truly led here and have enjoyed calling Sunriver my home. What a wonderful place to live, work, play, and raise children.

What makes this house unique

I feel like I am on vacation in my own town every day. Surrounded by gorgeous trees, buttes, mountains, rivers, and the smells of the forests never get old!

Very well stocked home

  • 4 of 5

The owner was prompt answering all the questions we had before booking our stay.

The house is big and comfortable. We have kids and we were very comfortable. The kitchen was nice and open to the dining room. I loved the fact that it had everything you could possible want for cooking; condiments, paper towels, dishwashing liquids, etc.The bathrooms had plenty of towels and I was happy to be able to do laundry.

The only thing that needs attention would be the dust. The house could use a deep cleaning. There was dust in the bedroom's night tables and when I opened the shutters in the living room they were very dusty. I Also noticed the master bedroom and kids bedroom's lamps were dusty. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Overall we were happy with our stay, other than the dust, we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable home in Central Oregon

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for 3 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we spent too much time enjoying wonderful central Oregon what we didn't get to spend enough time just relaxing at the house :) Check in and check out procedures were very easy, and Amanda had lots of nice guides on how to operate things and nuances of the home (septic system, A/C, etc). As another reviewer stated, there is not central A/C and just a unit in the living room, so the bedrooms did get a bit warm at night. There are lots of fans to help cool you down though and this wasn't a dealbreaker for us. Mosquitos were out in the backyard, so be sure to bring bug spray with you if you plan on enjoying the lovely backyard.

For families with little ones, there is a pack n play in one of the closets, which is a nice touch. Plenty of dishes and cookware items. Loved the toiletry items provided.

Would recommend to friends/family and would stay again if we are in the area with family.

Nice place, nice location

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed the stay. The house was clean, neighbors were nice, and we loved the fire pit. Everything in the house worked and the owner didn't require a ton of clean up, just some simple instructions on bedding and dishes. I would stay here again.
