Deerbrook cottage is located at water’s edge on the east side of crystal clear Glen Lake. Deerbrook has 200 feet of beautiful private sandy beach with a gently-sloping, soft sand bottom, perfect for swimming and water sports. The cottage features a prime view of the spectacular sunsets over Alligator Hill. We rent in the summer months and early fall, depending on our family schedule. Deerbrook is rented weekly from Saturday to Saturday.
Deerbrook was designed by noted local architect Glen Arai, who re-crafted a classic 1930’s cabin in the woods into an architectural gem. Stone fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom and natural exposed wood throughout the cottage create a warm, comfortable living area. Broad expanses of windows overlook the lake and a quiet stream, visually bringing the outdoors into this lovely home. Large decks both lakeside and streamside allow dining or relaxing while catching morning or afternoon sunshine.
PLEASE NOTE: We set the schedule for the summer in mid-January, once our family plans are in place. We give priority to returning guests and remaining weeks are then made available. Please feel free to contact us with any questions and/or to be added to our waiting list.
