About Janice Martin
Retired couple who just finished a historic remodel, plus new 'casita' guest house.
Janice Martin purchased this Bungalow in 2012
Why Janice Martin chose Willo
We choose to move to this area phoenix because we like the location being so close to downtown phoenix. We totally remodeled an older historic home, leaving all the charm of the original property.
What makes this Bungalow unique
Casita is walking distance to the Heard, and Phoenix Art Museums and the Encanto Light rail stop. Our backyard features a nice sitting area for coffee, cocktails or dining.

A Great Stay in Phoenix!
This is our second stay in Jan and Charlie's cute, comfy and convenient casita. We plan on repeat visits to the area and look forward to their gracious hospitality.
Thank you, Michael and Anne, for the wonderful review, we loved having you too.
Enjoy your summer. See you next time.

It is a lovely place, easy access to downtown and light rail. Cassita has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I would definitely go back if I go back to Phoenix!
Thank you, Helen, so much for the nice review. Love to have you back anytime.
This is a gem of a location. It is so much closer to the light rail than I thought. It is quiet and comfortable. It is a great option for a person staying alone. I felt safer than at hotels, and it is so close to walk to the light rail, restaurants, Heard Museum, and other places to explore. I would definitely stay again. If you don't have a car (and you really don't need one if only going to a conference or exploring Phoenix), there aren't really convenient places to get breakfast items or snacks nearby, so bring those items with you.
Thank you Misti, loved having you with us. You are the perfect guest!
Wonderful little spot!
We recently stayed at Janice and Charlie's little Willo Casita. It was everything we needed for our week's vacation. Although there isn't a stove we were on vacation and didn't want to cook much anyway. There is no shortage of restaurants within walking distance although it would be nice to have a corner grocery nearby, no fault of theirs.
The light rail is two blocks away, hop on and you can get most anywhere with little expense. Microwave, fridge and Keurig coffemaker were welcome additions. And for those planning on visiting in the warmer months the air conditioning works great! Very comfortable bed too.
We'd be happy to stay with them again.
Cute, well located casita
Nicely maintained small unit with outdoor seating area. Used the BBQ to entertain one evening and Janet kindly provided more plates and glasses.
Thanks for staying with us, loved having you.
The casita in Willo was perfect!
The casita was very clean and all of the necessities were provided. The location to restaurants was excellent. Janice and Charlie are great hosts - there when you need them but not intrusive!
We will definitely be back!
