Loved Our Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and new baby grandson. The villa is beautifully and comfortably decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked and any cooks delight to spend time preparing a snack or a meal. Mary is a wonderful hostess, and was available if we ever had a question. We will definitely be back!!

Sisters get awy!

  • 5 of 5

We found the perfect place to spend a lovely week together, after a long cold winter in he Northwest. The accommodations were beyond what we expected. There was nothing missing that we could ask for, We were in the heart of downtown Phoenix, but it was so quiet and lovely! We loved listening to the birds every morning; we had our own special concert! It was great having the on-site host family They were able to answer all our questions, and guide us where we wanted to go! You can be sure we will be back! We have found the perfect Phoenix get-away!

Well appointed , beautifully decorated, modern cottage. Amazing pool, and fabulous owner.

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Mary and family did not miss a beat. Tasteful, thoughtful decor, immaculate inside and out. The new bath and shower are huge. The kitchen had everything one would need.... double farm sink, great stove, large frig, lots of storage, a great island that was built by Mary! Comfy couch and bed. Lots of light. Large pool, great green space, and large area for just relaxing or enjoying the sunshine.

An added bonus was their two dogs....gentle, and playful.

Mary's children, Ian, Natalie and Claire were so helpful and friendly.

The neighborhood is beautiful. Bikes are available, and I so enjoyed being able to walk and view the other gorgeous homes in this historic area of Phoenix. Close to great restaurants, a market, the Heard a Museum, the Phoenix Art Museum, and other points of interest.

We definitely look forward to a return visit.

Home Away from Home: A place where one is as happy, relaxed, or comfortable as in one's own home.

  • 5 of 5

Mary and her family, including the four-legged ones, will go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. Then all you need to do is settle in and enjoy all the area has to offer. This becomes especially easy when your accommodations are lovely, clean and charming and the location is peaceful, yet city sights are so accessible. The Phoenix Art Museum and Heard Museum (with an excellent restaurant) are both within walking distance. Other great sights/experiences like the Desert Botanical Garden, Taliesan West, South Mountain Park, Old Scottsdale, Cosanti, etc are all a short drive away. You can also take a day road trip to Sedona, making short stops at Montezuma Castle on the way there and Jerome on the way back. Then return "home" where you'll have everything needed to prepare dinner if you wish, enjoy the huge, relaxing shower, take a look at the books & movies provided or just hang out in the cozy cottage. Enjoy

This vacation villa was absolutely ideal...

  • 5 of 5

Everything we could have wished for in this vacation villa was there and exceeded all expectations. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The beach décor throughout the home was awesome. The kitchen, as well as all other rooms, were beautiful and spotless just like the pictures. Everything you would ever need was right there. We were treated like family and had a wonderful memorable time. We will return!
