About the property

No roughing it here. Beautifull 3 bedroom, one bath home with amazing views

Williams Lake is a true mountain escape. This natural lake is a hidden gem inside one of the most unique mountain landscapes. The lake is a real recreational paradise. Wake up and go for a mountain bike ride or run, hit the lake for an early water ski or fish for Rainbow Trout. Early afternoon enjoy the water with swimming and boating. White water rafting or trail riding await your trip in less than a 30 minute drive. Or, if you prefer sit back and read a book and refresh in the mountain breeze. There is no better place. There is something for any vacationer. The cabin was constructed in 2012. The main floor offers an open floor plan with one bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, kitchen with bar along with sitting area. The 18 foot tall ceilings give it a refreshing open feeling. All of this faces the lake which is south facing bringing in great sun. The second floor is a loft which has two couches and a TV and DVD player. Also included on the second floor is a room that is perfect to throw all the kids in with a bunk bed and two single beds. The basement is unfinished daylight which is being used for recreational storage. In the uninfinshed basement there is also one more bedroom with a queen bed. A five minute walk downhill or one minute drive on your four wheeler is the private waterfront access. This includes a double deck with comfy outdoor furniture and picnic tables. Renters are encouraged to bring an ATV to go to and from the lake and explore but it's not neccesary. Continue down the stairs to the dock. Deep shoreline allows for easy boat docking. EZ dock with bumpers = easy on your ski boat. (Ski boat not included with the rental.)

We enjoyed a beautiful time at the Auge cabin. The cabin itself is very nice, comfortable and has all you need for a get away in the mountains.

Our only complaint was unrelated to the cabin, but would have been nice to know prior to making the trip. Williams lake was full of algae, so bad we could not swim.

On the positive side, had great time fishing.

Quiet, remote lake with beautiful mountain views

  • 4 of 5

This is a well maintained, newer house overlooking a lake. The front windows and deck provide amazing views of the rocky mountain and lake. Our family enjoyed exploring this area of Idaho and Williams Lake for the first time. The road is pretty high and windy and it is a steep hike to the lake. However, the remoteness of this lake made it a relaxing getaway, and you can drive a vehicle to the steps going down to the dock. We liked the boat ramp and day use area. We took our kayak over there a couple times to fish around the rocky island formations and closer to the inlet. The owner was wonderful to work this and quick to respond to communication. Thanks for sharing your home!

Lovely View on a peaceful lake

  • 5 of 5

The Auge Family cabin was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults and 2 small dogs. The cabin sits on a hill side all by itself so it is very quite and private. The view is really beautiful.

The cabin has everything you will need to enjoy this wonderful vacation rental. Nate was a pleasure

to work with!

Everything was amazing, the house, the docks, the view, the amenities, etc... The owner Nate was a pleasure and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend this place for a family looking for some quality time by the lake.

We loved our stay here! GREAT DECK & GORGEOUS VIEW

  • 5 of 5

Having an ATV to go back and forth to the gorgeous boat dock was key! We didn't mind not being right on the lake at all b/c it was such a short ride and the view from the house more than made up for it. The dock ROCKED! We hung out there almost all day. The house was very modern feeling and kitchen well stocked. (Our kids loved the PlayStation!) Good quality linens and sheets were great and the couch was SUPER comfortable. Best spot on the lake in my opinion. I almost hate to rate it so high in case it is not be available when we want to use it again next summer!! Nate is awesome.
