We just returned from a stay at the Melody house that we coordinated with friends who booked the neighboring Harmony House. Our kids loved trekking across the bridge that connects the two homes and exploring the woods around them. And, the living spaces and kitchens were very well equipped for our evening dinners and relaxing by the fire. We also enjoyed a fun afternoon hike at Tunica Hills -- only 15 minutes away. All in all, a wonderful change of pace and a GREAT weekend. Many thanks!!
Thank you for the kind review! We are happy you all took advantage of all that the Tunica Hills has to offer and a return visit is forthcoming.
Me and my husband along with another couple got to kick back in this very inviting home! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the screened in porch keeping warm by the fire. We hope to come back again next year and stay a little longer so we can fully enjoy all that the area has to offer. Thanks for a great weekend!!
Thank you for the kind review. So pleased you all used the fireplaces. We look forward to your return next year!
Beautiful - comfortable - tranquil!!!
This is a great home - so comfortable and has everything there except groceries. They even provide wood for the fireplace.
It has porches to sit and enjoy nature.
The Melody House is connected to the Harmony House by a long board walk through the woods. Harmony House is a larger home but just as beautiful decorated and comfortable as The Melody House.
These 2 homes are convenient to the Desert Plantation and worked for our family weekend wedding events!
A great place to stay!!!
Loved the private setting. Loved that we were connected by a bridge to the h next cabin.
We had a small intimate wedding and due to the weather we were able to utilize the carport area for the event. It was perfect. The bride and groom stayed in the smaller cabin and the parents stayed in the la r get cabin. Our guests lived in B a ton Rouge and went home a fter t he wedding with the exception of two f a miles that stayed in the Magnuson. That restaurant was so close and convenient. Great experience.
Wonderful and peaceful stay
Very nice and spacious home. Surroundings were great. Convenient to where we needed to go. Would stay again if I return to this area
Thank you! Hope the weekend was fun and mostly memorable.
Great place for a getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Melody House. The house is very nice and was very clean upon our arrival. The back porch and deck were great for relaxing and enjoying dinner and drinks. It's mostly secluded with a wonderful view of the woods. The giant window in the master bedroom was great to wake up to. We will definitely be back.
