Hacienda Serena represents a beautiful and sensitive renovation of a 1940's period hacienda down to the smallest details. The huge mature trees featured in the native desert landscaping are just one of the highlights of this property.

Enter through the gates to an enchanting courtyard with fountain, wide veranda, and hanging antique lanterns.

Through the front door you will find soaring beamed ceilings enhanced by restored vintage light fixtures and custom wrought iron grill work.

The gourmet kitchen features colbalt blue-finished Viking appliances, with wet bar, complimentary tile back splashes, and rough-cut limestone counter tops.

This 4 bedroom 4 bath home sleeps 10 comfortably with a queen-size hide-a-bed sofa available in addition to the all new California king-size master bed, queen sized guest room, 2 twin bed room and a queen sized bed in the casita.

The home features new flat screen televisions in the family room, casita, and each of the bedrooms along with updated WIFI capabilities throughout the property. Each of the 4 bathrooms features the same attention to detail with the use of the same tile work, antique cabinetry, and restored or custom lighting.

In the private back yard, flag stone and concrete decking ties the pebble-tech salt water swimming pool and spa to the fire pit, outside dining area, and separate casita to the completely renovated landscaping.

Immaculate throughout.

Saying how perfect this property does not do it justice at all. No detail was overlooked when preparing this property for guest. We had everything we needed from top to bottom other than clothes to wear. Pool and spa are in perfect working order and was cleaned more than once (over our long stay) before I got out of bed. Chris was in contact every step of the way as needed although we had zero issues with anything. If you have a big family and perhaps a few older kiddos that want some privacy, the casita has got you covered. 5 stars doesn't cover this property or the folks that manage it. See you soon.

We highly recommend this property for a true getaway that is unique. I felt like I had been transported to another time and place. The home is charming in its decor, filled with many decorating details and well supplied. The owner was very responsive to our questions and requests. Perfection!

We had an amazing and unforgettable girls' getaway weekend, thanks to this beautiful 'resort-like' home! Friends from the snowed-in East Coast were delighted to sit poolside under the hot desert sun. The property is stunning -- more beautiful than the photos, if you can believe it! It was easy to communicate with the owner Chris, who is professional and flexible. The details were remarkable - from beautiful rustic light fixtures and comfortable beds, to spectacular kitchen appliances and a lovely outdoor dining room. We are already planning our next desert trip and it will definitely be back at the Hacienda!
