Thank you for your interest in our Mana Kai condo. The direct ocean view from our condo as well as the fantastic location on the beach cannot be overstated! The Mana Kai is as good as it gets.

The Mana Kai Resort is located right on one of the nicest beaches on Maui, Keawakapu Beach. The sand is luxurious and the ocean is warm and clear. Great snorkeling is just steps from the Mana Kai.

Mana Kai 807 is a 'Superior' 2 BR, 2 BA Ocean Front unit, with 2 Kings and a queen sized sofa bed. Because of it's location right on the beach, the Mana Kai stays nice and cool year round, but in case you prefer AC, Mana Kai 807 is equipped with central air conditioning.

The Mana Kai Resort has many conveniences such as a deli and general store on the ground floor as well as a beach equipment rental shop which has snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, bikes, etc... The excellent Five Palms restaurant is also on the ground floor, and it's happy hour has become very well known for it's great selection and low prices. The Mana Kai also features a beautiful oceanfront swimming pool and a BBQ area which is available for guest use.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and a large lanai with that unbeatable view! It's not at all unusual for guests to spot humpback whales in the winter and turtles year round from the lanai. Beach and bath towels are provided. In addition, the condo has free high speed WiFi internet access and a free reserved parking spot.

Great View, Clean and comfortable unit but sits on public beach access point

The location was great--on a nice walk-able beach and yet a rocky area which provided great snorkeling with the ability to see fish and sea turtles. It's a good base location for getting around Maui. There were all kinds of water recreational items available for rental--kayaks, snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, etc. right at the complex which was a great benefit. The unit was clean and comfortable, was nicely decorated, had nice basic amenities, and offered a great view. The only disappointment to us was that we were unaware when booking it that the complex sits on a public beach access. Consequently the beach was really crowded at times. Also, the first night we were there our two boys--15 and 22 went down to swim, and were stopped by security. The officer gave them a hard time, because while we had checked in we hadn't returned the information card before the office closed and he couldn't show we belonged there. We appreciated that they wanted to keep the area safe--however, we found it odd that during the week we were there, we watched multiple groups of people use the pool and then leave through the public access and were clearly not owners or guests of the complex and were never questioned. There was always a security officer around, yet they never seemed to notice or say anything. Yet we paid a lot of money to stay there, and we were the ones questioned. That kind of put a little damper on our experience there.

807 was just what we needed!

We spent 10 nights in 807 and it was just what we needed! We found everything we needed including two great beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a kitchen that had everything you need to feel at home. The second bedroom feels quite separate and was a great cool, dark place for our 17 year old to sleep in. The main bedroom had a beautiful view. The air conditioning worked great and the wifi was strong, we were able to stream movies at night. The unit is right next to the elevator but we never heard noise from people talking there. The laundry, trash and recycling are by the elevator so very convenient. Great workout room in the basement and the yoga studio on ground floor a treat. We never felt crowded when by the pool or beach, there were always plenty of lawn chairs. What was great is the actual lawn that keeps you from having to 'hassle' sand the whole time while still letting you feel you are on the beach (which is steps away). We snorkeled right off the beach and saw turtles, coral and marine life. The best part was the Lanai where you felt very private being so high up, no other condos looking in your direction, and you feel connected to the beach and ocean while sitting there. The sun never hits the Lanai so you don't get hot there either. The condo is on the edge of Keihei and we could be in the center of Wailea or Keihei in 5 minutes so perfect location. We would for sure rent 807 again. Finally, Rick was excellent to work with as we made our arrangements. Thanks for sharing the condo with us!

Our second time back to the mana kai, awesome place to stay w easy access to great beach. Unit is up high to get great breeze and views. Comfortable and clean. We will be back.

Perfect for families!

We enjoyed everything! Immaculate, well appointed condo. View from the balcony each morning, whale-spotting, pool, snorkeling with turtles, playing in the soft sand, 5 Palms happy hour, the store's food selection with cold sandwiches for lunch, town just a minute away, Wailea and Big Beach a short drive south. A perfect family trip with 2 condos for the 8 of us - 3 generations. Will definitely come back! Thanks for sharing your Maui gem!

On the other hand, if there are 10 available nights and you are booking a number of nights that leaves us with too many vacant nights in that period, we may have to decline the booking, especially during high season. The Mana Kai books almost solid year round, so we try to maximize our occupancy. Thank you.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A $200 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. Other than that, reservations may be cancelled up to 60 days prior to your intended occupancy date with no additional penalty. For cancellations made within 60 days of your intended occupancy date, your entire payment will be forfeited unless we are able to re-rent the condo. If we are able to re-rent the condo to another guest during your date range, as a refund you will receive the amount that we collect for the new rental. No refunds for no-shows.
