In most cases the unit you have reserved is the unit you will be staying in, however, we reserve the right to put you in a like-kind unit for the term of your rental. If you are given a like-kind unit it is guaranteed to be in the same building and no more than one floor above the unit you have reserved (this only applies to buildings without elevators). If your unit is going to be changed to a like-kind unit you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance

All units are equipped with wireless internet, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, toasters, microwaves, linens and towels, as well as a guest book with instructions and recommendations. There is laundry in the lowest level of the building.

All building and unit doors are on secure, code-activated locks so coordinating key pick-up and drop-off is not necessary.

Perfect. Walking distance to everything Boston.

Cute, compact, complete. When visiting a new city, we spend very little time in our room. This place was great. About the size of a large hotel room, but with a complete kitchen, small sofa, table & chairs. We had hop on hop off bus tickets, and the stop was as within our block. We also walked to Boston Common and the Charles River Esplanade. Both beautiful parks. Bars and restaurants are in any direction from the front door. We highly recommend this property if the center of Boston is your destination.

Great location but customer service is lacking

  • 2 of 5

This was a great location. We walked everywhere. The main issue is management does not care. There is no cable TV although the information in the apartment talks about cable, you can see that they disconnected the cable and they have "rabbit ears". (Really, in this day and age?) All the channels come and go and it is impossible to watch a show which is a downer if you plan to watch some TV at night. Really irritating and management just said-Sorry.

We were also locked out of the main door as they change that code. We spent almost an hour trying to reach STR management at 2pm on a Tuesday and all 6 employee phone numbers went to voicemail along with the main number and the maintenance number. I finally called the commercial number and talked to "apparently" a manager who said we should have received an email however none was sent and she could have cared less that we were standing outside the building in a panic since the contact number was worthless. Just feel we should have received a concerned apology. Adds to my thoughts that no one really cares. Otherwise the condo is comfortable with no other issues. Would I stay again? Like the location but hate the customer care.

Great location. Clean room. Would have loved a better hairdryer, less street noise and a quieter bed.

Nice place and space is limited but used well.

  • 4 of 5

Nice space and a great location! Walking distance to almost everything! If you don’t mind a Murphy bed, it is perfect for two people. The lighting in the bathroom was dim—like getting ready by candlelight. But the main room had good lighting. The coffee pot beeps incessantly once the coffee is brewed. They had a separate pot to keep the coffee warm, but it didn’t work. Kind of a pain to transfer the coffee anyway. I just used the microwave to reheat it. Really, that’s my biggest complaint. Otherwise, the place was perfect and exactly what I expected.
