This 5th floor (elevator access) studio suite features a custom designed and built murphy bed that provides the ultimate in comfort and flexibility for a studio unit. The unit is front facing with incredible views of Charles Street and Beacon Hill.

This brand new unit has hardwood floors throughout, granite counter-tops and new stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils, along with oven, stove-top, and refrigerator. Flat screen TV has basic channels, including local, news and sports channels.

Most of our units are designed to be interchangeable and each unit has at least one "like-kind" unit within the same building that is similar in size and identical in amenities as well as sleeping capacity. In most cases the unit you have reserved is the unit you will be staying in, however, we reserve the right to put you in a like-kind unit for the term of your rental. If you are given a like-kind unit it is guaranteed to be in the same building and no more than one floor above the unit you have reserved (this only applies to buildings without elevators). If your unit is going to be changed to a like-kind unit you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance

All units are equipped with wireless internet, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, tea kettles, toasters, microwaves, linens and towels, as well as a guest book with instructions and recommendations. There is laundry in the lowest level of the building.

All building and unit doors are on secure, code-activated locks so coordinating key pick-up and drop-off is not necessary.

Parking is available on site for an additional charge, but subject to availability (Click Here to reserve a spot). There are several parking garages near the property - Charles Street Garage and Boston Common Garage.

Great location. Clean and quiet room close to everything.

Overall the room was clean and comfortable with easy walking access to tourist attractions. Only gripe was the bed is very firm and the shower head needs to be replaced. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

We booked this unit for our stay during the marathon. We typically prefer having a unit with a small kitchen over a hotel room so we can cook some of our meals. This unit was appointed well for the meals we made. The location of this unit is fantastic for loading of the buses and the finish line proximity. The neighbourhood is very quaint , close to the river front paths and other areas of Boston. Our only complaints about the unit were the toilet made some sort of weird noise almost every half hour during the night, the blinds do nothing to block the early morning sun (be prepared to be up early), no air conditioning and the street noise. I did read about the unit on our last day here before I wrote my review and it mentions air conditioning. Perhaps it wasn't installed yet but during our stay it was quite warm for 4 of the 5 nights which made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. No air conditioning meant we had to have all the windows open which then caused the traffic and people noise. We would most likely stay here again as we loved the location but only if air conditioning is available.

Nicely appointed, clean and efficient studio apt.

  • 5 of 5

This studio apartment in an historic building has it all, and functions brilliantly in a well designed small space. Bed very comfortable, plenty of storage, lovely bathroom, nice and easy kitchen - all the comforts we needed. If that isn't enough... the neighborhood is fantastic! Markets, restaurants, boutique shops, and bus stops - all on charming, tree-lined Charles Street in the desirable Beacon Hill area. We ate at and recommend: Bin26, Figs, Upper Crust, and the original Cheers (a 4-5 block walk). Great food and service. Property management communications a breeze. Loved this apartment and highly recommend! Tourist tip: Visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - it's an impressive treasure in Boston.

The location was great. Customer service was limited.

  • 3 of 5

I was very disappointed that we were not only responsible for supplying our own toilet paper, dish soap and other basic supplies but also were required to be our own maids. We had to remove all of trash and strip the beds prior to check out. This information was not shared until 2 days prior to our stay. The apartment overall was very nice but The bed was uncomfortable and the couch was in need of repair.

Owner's Response: Hi Bobbie, I'm sorry to hear that you stay didn't live up to your expectations. We do supply guests with a few rolls of toilet paper and dish soap, but only recently started supplying units with soap for the dishwasher. In order to pass on as much savings as possible to our guests, we do away with things like providing like daily laundering service and toiletries, instead giving people free machines that they can use to launder their own items. If there was anything else that seemed to fall short please feel free to let us know so we may improve upon it for future stays. Thank you, Scott
