This garden level two bedroom suite features a large kitchen, living and dining room, which faces the private alley in back of the building, offering additional privacy and quiet to its guests. There is an original stove surrounding in the living room and polished hardwood floors run throughout the unit. The bedrooms feature queen mattresses set, ceiling fan, nightstand, reading lamp and alarm clock. The bathroom is equipped with a tile shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils, along with dishwasher, oven, range and refrigerator and there is a dining table that expands to seat four people. The living room has a flat screen TV with local channels and the sofa pulls out to a queen bed which makes this the perfect unit for four to six people. During the warm months a window air conditioning unit keeps this unit cool.

All rental units are equipped with wireless internet, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, tea kettles, toasters, microwaves, linens and towels, as well as a guest book with instructions and recommendations.

All building and unit doors are on secure, code-activated locks so coordinating key pick-up and drop-off is not necessary. This unit is accessed using stairs (there is no elevator) and is on the basement level. The building has a common laundry room that has two sets of washer/dryers which are free of charge to our guests and are available between the hours of 4pm and 11am.

There is parking directly behind the building that may be purchased for an additional charge (Click Here to reserve a spot). Parking alternatives are on-street metered spaces or garage parking at 800 Boylston Street.

The Boston Common and Public Garden are a 20 minutes walk, Fenway Park is 15 minutes, public transit is 7 minutes and grocery, dining and shopping are all within a few minutes walk of the property. You can pick up the Freedom Trail very near the Boston Common. MGH, Boston University, and many other hospitals and schools are within 30 minutes walk or a short ride on public transit.

                                  The location is perfect. The beds comfortable. A few things could have been better but overall I would recommend this property. I would also stay here again.

                                  Nice location. Good communication and instructions by email. Building looked run down from outside compaired to rest of neighborhood. Tables in bedroom were not useable, need repair. Many of the window shutters need repair. Light bulbs out in living room(we replaced one). Couch and chair soiled, could use cleaning. Only two forks in the kitchen. No DVD player. Hair dryer needs replacing. Back gate to alley very rickety and hard to open. Could not find designated trash cans in alley, no address on cans as specified in lease. Small patio needs cleaning. Would be much nicer with a little maintenance.

                                  This little basement apartment was ideally located less than a 10 minute walk from the Hynes convention center. The two bedrooms were furnished with very comfortable beds and lovely bedding (duvets). The decor was tasteful and chic. It is a basement apartment but I almost forgot this after closing the door. There were laundry facilities available that were communal and convenient especially in the basement apartment. The bathroom had a nice whirlpool tub and a generous tiled standup shower. The world is your oyster as far as restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

                                  We loved this apartment. It is the basement floor of an old building so be aware that you will need to take your luggage up and down a long flight of stairs. We found the apartment very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and back patio for morning coffee. The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe for walking- only 5 minutes to Charles River and 10 minutes to Newbury St!

                                  The apartment's location is perfect for touring all the Boston sites. However, the apartment is in poor condition and not very clean. The patio area also has not been well maintained with the neighbors air condition unit dripping water on you when you step outside. The bedrooms are very hot and small for two people to share. The shower has very low water pressure. The pictures on the website display a luxury apartment which it is not.

                                  Marlborough Street is a quaint, tree-lined street in perhaps the most sought after neighborhood in all of Boston, the Back Bay. This location is very central and its easy to get around the City by foot or on public transit. Newbury Street is a 3 minute walk, Copley Square is a <10 minute walk, the Boston Common is <15 minute walk, Fenway Park is <20 minute walk. MGH and Longwood Medical are also very easy to get to from this location – each taking between 5-10 minutes to get to via taxi or subway. The Hynes Convention Center is <7 minute walk and the Boston Convention Center (Seaport) is a short, <10 minute taxi ride. Berklee College is a <7 minute walk, Boston Univeristy is <5 minute subway or taxi ride and Northeastern University, Harvard University and MIT are all within a short taxi ride from this location.
