Overview

About the property

5 bedroom spacious home on the lake with beautiful mountain views.

The home rests in a spacious lot that includes a double row of cherry trees at the upper west end that bloom in early May and are ready to harvest by late July. The landscape slopes gently down to the lake and is beautifully landscaped with flowering trees and shrubs, stonework steps and a winding cart path to a pavilion at the lake. A large sloping lawn provides ample space and views of the lake and mountains beyond.

The pavilion provides a shaded picnic area, tables and chairs and an open loft for stargazing or sleeping, a bathroom, outdoor shower and small beverage area all right at the edge of the lake. A small refrigerator and sink keep things cool while you relax. A fire pit and stone patios extend the outdoor living room down near the water. A dock for boating or swimming provides endless opportunities for recreational activities.

The generous house provides a two car garage. The 2314 sq. ft. main floor provides two spacious master suites, each with a queen bed and private full bathroom. The south Owl Suite has a walk in closet large enough to accommodate a crib and its bathroom has a tub with a shower. The Floral Suite at the north end has a small closet. A wingback chair provides a quiet reading nook in the bedroom and the bathroom has a beautiful glass door shower.

The center of the main floor provides an open living room with a gas fireplace and ample seating with a half bath off of the entry foyer. The living room is open to a long dining room table with ten chairs and open kitchen to accommodate large groups comfortably. The kitchen counter extends along the dining area as a breakfast bar with five wide stools. The modern, well designed kitchen has every amenity for cooking including a gas range and oven, large refrigerator and numerous cupboards as well as ample counter space to work.

A TV room and sofas provide a private escape for movies or games, and a bright laundry room with utility sink are located adjacent to the garage at the north end. Both suites and the living room open onto the long deck spanning the length of the house. Outdoor chairs and a BBQ extend the living space for spectacular views and lake breezes.

The 2314 sq. ft. full basement has a third full suite with a queen bed and full bathroom to the south. Tree Suite has a walk in closet and the bathroom has a lovely glass door shower. The suite is at the south end and opens onto the patio nearest the hot tub. A second laundry room off of the central family room enables occupants to easily keep all laundry needs met. The cool basement family room has large windows to the lake, and a second open seating area and fireplace for visiting. The spacious family room also provides a ping pong table and kitchenette. Two separate bunk rooms round out the basement at the north end providing four bunk beds in one room, and four in the second with a toddler bed. The two rooms are across the hall to a fourth full bathroom with double sinks and tub with shower.

A Tipi on the property provides additional outdoor sleeping.

We LOVED this house!! Outside pictures do not do it justice. Great for large families!!

  • 5 of 5

This house has plenty of space to spread out, but we spent most of our time outdoors. The pavilion is beautiful with everything you'd need. We rented a pontoon boat and jet skis. We loved the canoe that was provided. We made a fire down by the water almost every night and the hot tub up by the house was a treat too. It was very clean.

The kitchen was well stocked. They had everything down to ziploc bags and all the paper products you could possibly need. They are baby gates and a portacrib. I wish we had known that before we brought ours on the plane. With two laundry rooms and 4 1/2 baths we never had an issue. There's plenty of seating on the upstairs porch and down in the pavilion.

We saw deer, rabbits, chipmunks and tons of bald eagles. The neighbor's dog came by when we were by the lake and wanted us to throw a stick in the water. We are dog lovers so we enjoyed this!

The internet was slow which was really the only complaint. We did have trouble adjusting the temperature downstairs but they came pretty quickly to fix this.

I would highly recommend this house to large families!

Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

The Orchard House was nothing short of spectacular. The property is incredibly beautiful, with lush landscaping and colorful flowers. The lakeside Pavillion was a perfect location to relax and take in the waterfront view. The house itself had everything we needed. It was stocked with amenities for kitchen, bath and laundry needs. The individual rooms with en suites had extremely comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and high end finishes and furniture through the the entire space. The property is secluded and quiet allowing plenty of opportunity to sit back in the hot tub or the top floor deck and enjoy the stunning mountain views across Flathead Lake. Do yourself a favor and book this property without a single worry. The property managers had excellent communication and everything wentry smooth for our 7 day vacation. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Orchard House

  • 4 of 5

The house was almost perfectly suited for our group. Master bedrooms were spacious each with their own en suite. For the boys in the bunk rooms, the beds seemed a little short but were otherwise comfortable. Between the hall bathroom that the bunk rooms shared, the powder room upstairs and the facility at the pavilion, there were plenty of bathroom facilities. We rented a boat and made great use of the dock. add the charm of the cherry trees, the wild turkeys and the views of the northern lights over the lake, and it doesn't get much better than that.
