Why Jane G chose Acharacle
This cottage was chosen by us as it would be where we would choose to holiday. It is set in a very quiet bay where there are a few similar private detached second homes. The Loch (Sunart) comes right up to the front so you can launch your kayaks/canoes/dinghies right from the house. You can fish from the rocks go beachcoming or just take a stroll in the beautiful surroundings admiring the views in all directions ! When we first came to visit this house we were indeed very lucky as we watched otters playing on the rocks out of the sitting room window , wonderful , what a place. In Autumn all the deer and Stags are on the shore during the rutting season roaring to the others on the opposite side of the Loch. Beautiful autumn colours of golds/rusty reds and clear blue skies. The sunrise above the Morven hills opposite is amazing , the different colours and moods of the sky never ceases to amaze me. On Clear nights the stars are amazing and sometimes we are lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights.

Well equipped house in a stunning setting
We spent a lovely long weekend here. The location is beautiful and feels quite remote along single track roads. Plentiful wildlife can be seen and there are many interesting walks to enjoy.
The house is really well equipped and is warm and comfortable. The owners made us feel very welcome.
A great place to get away from it all
We had a fantastic week at Seabreeze. The house is in a fantastic position directly overlooking Loch Sunart. There is abundant wildlife all around. Birds in the back garden, pine martins and deer to the front. You really feel you are away from all the stresses and strains of modern life albet in a well furnished and comfy house. There are plenty of places to go for the day; the lighthouse, boat trip to Tobermory, a walk to the lead mines above Strontian, Glenuig, Arisaig and Mallaig or just pottering about at the front of the house. We had exceptionally sunny weather and the picnic tables were well used for meals outside. Our hosts Jane and Dave came to see we were settled in and on hand as required. We would certainly like to return another year
Great Holiday Home in an amazing place
Want an amazing place! Right on the shore of the loch with an abundance of wildlife. The holiday Home was very well equipped, lovely and clean with comfortable beds and lots of extras. The owners made us feel very welcome and was always on hand to give us advice about the area. Our first day provided a visit from a seal, deer on the shore and pine martens in the garden. Would definitely recommend this place as a perfect getaway.
