Cozy And Romantic Mt. Shasta Getaway-- Hot Tub And Sauna

Bedrooms 1
Property type studio
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 3

This 1 bed, 1 bath studio is located on Wyehka Way, one of Mt. Shasta's most desired streets for its beauty and solitude. The studio comfortably sleeps 2 in the comfortable queen bed, with a 3rd person fitting on the sofa bed. NOTE: Kitchenette is small; not appropriate for large meal cooking. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, small refrigerator make it perfect for light meals, pre-out to dinner drinks and appetizers, or re-heating left overs. Pub chairs and table for dining. No large dish-washing facility.

This amazing location coupled with the well appointed nature of this studio make for your perfect Mt. Shasta getaway. Located just 2 miles from downtown Mt. Shasta this studio is on one of Mt. Shasta's most exclusive streets, cherished for its solitude and beautiful views of a mountain meadow.

Guests have access to their own private studio, which has a private entry and is separated from the main house. It has a kitchenette and full bathroom (toilet, sink and shower). Hot tub and sauna also available for use during visit. Outdoor BBQ also available for use with prior approval.

While this house allows visitors to bring one dog, there is no fenced yard. The studio is on a 5 acre property at the end of a road with no outlet, so there isn't a lot of traffic or neighbor issues, but if your dog is a roamer, you will need to pay close attention or keep them leashed.

The hosts/owners of the property live in the main house (Buzz and Jennifer). They have lived in Mt. Shasta for 30+ years and are a wealth of knowledge about things to do and see in the local area.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Amy and family were wonderful hosts. My husband and I were going to be arriving much later than originally planned, and Amy reassured me on the phone that that was fine, and explained clearly how to park and let ourselves into the apartment. I appreciated her quick response to my request that we speak on the phone to confirm the arrangements. Buzz met us for our almost-dawn arrival with a warm welcome. This was a great place for us to refresh and rest, a beautifully furnished and very clean room in a very quiet setting. I hope we can come back and stay here again when we have more time to enjoy the area. Thank you very much!

We loved our two night stay in Mount Shasta. This property was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The owners are very hospitable. We would love to book again.

Perfect for us - even nicer than presented

Lovely, treed property out in country but only few minutes from town. Comfy, new space had everything we needed. Buzz and Jenn gave us great tips about Lake Siskiyou beaching & snorkeling, and restaurants. Love the area. Thank you!

Tiny but terrific!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Mt. Shasta for two nights on our way to Bend. The owners, Jennifer and Buzz, were wonderful. They were very helpful and extremely accommodating. They even let us use their kayak and paddle board, which was very much appreciated. The unit was small, but it was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our short stay. The location was also ideal with beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay there again.

Yes, this is very much the gem other reviewers have said.

Delightfully clean, attractive, simple little space with just the right basics. Comfortable bed & furniture, lovely hardwood floor, various ambient lighting options, windows open (with screens and adjustable blinds) or option of air conditioning unit. Good shower. Mini fridge, coffee & tea makings, microwave--set up in an easy little 'bar' corner. Closet space. Ample clean linens. Privacy. Completely serene and tranquil setting in the midst of nature--but just a few easy minutes' drive from town... and, it seemed, no more than 20 mins drive from just about any of the spectacular sites/trails/venues I visited. For me, traveling alone, this little studio was the perfect pied-a-terre for my recent stay in Mt. Shasta. As other reviewers have noted, for couples, or for anyone wishing to do any serious cooking, I can see that it would likely feel too limited after a couple of days. The hosts and management couldn't have been nicer--very helpful and available, while respectful of privacy. Would definitely book again for a future Shasta visit.

Scenic, serene. Bucolic string with chorus of cattle grazing in the pasture across the valley.

The room is nicely furnished, clean and welcoming. A Kurig and pods are furnished, along with toaster, microwave and dorm fridge.

We appreciated that flatware, real glassware and wine glasses were provided. Also, small touches of nice soap, a full sugar bowl (!) and ceramic coasters made the room feel like a visit at your family's home.

There was an issue with a neighboring property hosting a loud concert for several hours one night. That was unwelcome but fortunately did not go on too late.

All in all -- nice stay and would return.
