The property is as advertised. Nice, clean, and super close to Canyon Lodge. The covered parking spot was a nice bonus given all the powder.

Bedding is great...rest of the condo is TIRED.

  • 3 of 5

The photos of the condo advertised made the condo look a lot nicer than it is in person. Condo is overpriced due to the fact the carpet was dirty, the paint on the walls in the living room had some sort of food sprayed on it between the fireplace and front door, the kitchen is old and the appliances are antiquated. The cabinets were littered with old, open food packages. The dishwasher had dishes in it. The glasses in the cabinet were disgusting-filthy and we had to get clear to the back of the cabinet before we found a row of clean glasses that we proceeded to wash anyhow. There were four to six huge ants on the counter and wall at different times in the kitchen and bathroom (carpenter ants?). The bedding on the beds is great, the mattress I slept on was good, my roomie thought the other mattress was horrible and the sofa bed mattress was very saggy. The bathroom was good however the shower had mildew/mold in the caulking surrounding the tub that someone had attempted to cover with some new caulking, in lieu of proper removal and it looked disgusting. The water pressure was great and the water was hot. There really is not a view out the windows other than into other condos in the complex. I can say I slept very well, the location is great (was within 5-10 min of restaurants, stores, lakes and super close to the lifts for the resort if you visit in the winter) and the Mammoth area is beautiful. As much as I liked the bedding, I wouldn't hesitate to find other accommodations for the next trip - sorry.

Owner's Response: Hi Amber, I am really sorry to hear this unit did not meet your standards. In the future please contact the office right away so we can send housekeeping back in to touch up the condo. Everything should always be clean and turn key. -Stacey Stern, General Manager

Enjoyed our stay!

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying at this condo for 6 days.

The good - comfy couches with 2 recliners, roomy living and dining area, functional kitchen with everything we needed, all the firewood you can burn, wifi and cable, the onsite manager is a great guy and really personable and helpful.

The not so good - not really walkable to canyon if you have young kids bc of the uphill climb with boots and carrying skis, my wife said the bed was hard but I slept like a brick after skiing all day for multiple days, sleeper sofa frame was off kilter so kid just slept on the couch.

Overall a good value for space and location as compared to other similarly priced units we have stayed at. We would rent this unit again.

Owner's Response: Hi Ken! Glad to hear the condo worked well for your family. The bed is firm per the homeowners personal preference and less than 5 years old. We know sofa beds can be tricky so the unit is now equipped with an oversize queen blow up mattress. Much more comfy! Hopefully we will see you again. -Stacey Stern, General Manager
