This comfortable third floor villa is just steps from the beach and is close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Loacted across the street from the county park, this complex is just one row back from the beach. Guests have access to a community pool and a shared laundry facility, located next door at the Sea Cabin Villas.
This relaxing living room has a flat screen TV, cozy furnishings, and access to a balcony porch that overlooks community swimming pool. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and dinette seating for six. The master suite is furnished with a queen bed, a flat screen TV, a private bath with tub and shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and there is and a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional bedding.

Each Oceanside Villa includes: free parking, community pool, community fishing pier, initial supply of linens and towels, access to a shared coin operated laundry facility, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service.The wireless service operates on an open network that requires no logins or passwords and provides no network security. Property was not great. Wyndham was amazing.
Excellent customer service from the property manager when we arrived to find a less than welcoming condo. We would not stay in this particular property again. We will try to always stay with Wyndam.

Great location, not so great condo.
The location of this condo is great for the price. However, the condo was showing it's age a bit. It could have certainly used new paint and new carpet inside and comfortable beds. The noise level wasn't the best either. It wasn't horrible by all means but needed to be remodeled for sure.
needs some work
Let me start by saying that the pictures are deceiving. The condo has not been kept up and is in need of much repair. The carpet was stained and could use a good deep cleaning or even replacing. The the walls were warped and the paint was peeling in the bathroom. The kitchen was not much to be desired either...the dishwasher was not properly secured which caused it to tilt forward every time we opened it. The cabinets are showing their age...stains, and some were even rotting and damaged from what appeared to be water. The pleather chair pictured in the living room photo was peeling severely and the some pieces from the vertical blinds were broken and missing. Lastly, the sheets and quilt in one of the bedrooms were stained, and the towels that were provided left lint on your skin after every use.
On a positive note...It's centrally located and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and Harris Teeter. The kitchen was well equipped with the basics, paper goods were provided (as well as hotel size toiletries). When we discovered the stained linens, we called and they were both replaced with fresh ones...unfortunately, in the process they took a pillowcase that belonged to us by mistake.
The parking situation was very frustrating! We arrived with 2 cars but were only given a parking pass for one, so all weekend we were inconvenienced with the city lot. We paid $10 per day, which wasn't unreasonable but the 8am run every morning to refresh the meter for the day was annoying. We've taken our annual trip to IOP for the last 3 years and have never had an issue with having an extra car, until this year!
This condo is spacious and has the potential to be great...unfortunately it hasn't been kept up and I would not recommend this particular unit to anyone.
The best thing about this unit was the availability for the time we needed it. We checked in around 6:00 pm (so the property should have been cleaned). When we got to the property, the kitchen floor was sticky, there was tracked dirt and a screw in the middle of the carpeted area, thick dust on the fans, and the bathrooms were dirty. We called the property manager and they sent housekeeping back out to clean the floors (we were told that there was a door installed and the workers had probably tracked the dirt, but that doesn't explain the other issues). "Mopping" involved a wet paper towel only. We were informed maintenance would be called about the fan (particularly the fan in the bathroom - it seemed like a fire hazard!) and someone should be contacting us. We never heard a peep, which was probably for the best because we would not have been happy to take time out of our vacation to wait for maintenance. My husband cleaned the tub and I cleaned the sink to make the unit usable and we just made sure shoes stayed on the whole time. I was grateful that my child isn't yet crawling because I would not want him on the floor of this unit. Overall I would not recommend this property.
