This cozy third floor villa is a perfect vacation spot, with ocean views from every room and unobstructed ocean views from the screened porch and widow's walk! Nothing but sand between you and the ocean, and just a short drive to historic Charleston. This condo is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the laid-back beach lifestyle. Square Feet 800
There is Pergo flooring throughout the entire villa, and the kitchen was recently remodeled with marble countertops and new appliances. The bathroom has been completely redone in tile and marble, and features an oversized soaker tub. The screened porch is a great place to enjoy a beverage while you watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. This condo includes free access to the community pool, and guests also enjoy access to wireless internet..
The king-sized bed in the master bedroom has a Serta Wynnfield Super Pillow Top mattress, and you can enjoy the ocean views while having breakfast in bed, as well. A sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional bedding.
No Sportscard. Wild Dunes' amenities are limited to golf, dining, and bike trails.
Each Port O'Call Villa includes: free parking, screened porch, elevator access, free access to community swimming pool, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service and 24-hour security in a gated community. The wireless service requires a login and password. Contact the front desk about the login information. Wireless internet services are not guaranteed to work with your equipment. We cannot provide support for guest's personal computer systems.

I booked this condo 9 months in advance of my wife and I's anniversary trip. Wouldn't you know that Hurricane Matthew arrived just before we were supposed to...... bummer
I was fully prepared to give a scathing review, but it was for one facet of this experience. In all fairness, I will divide it into 3 parts - the condo - the owner - and the management company in charge of the property.
The condo- EXCELLENT ! It is exactly as pictured, and DIRECTLY OCEAN FRONT. Very clean. Perfect for 2 people, maybe more if they are youths... but it fit our needs very well. Grade - A
The owner - EXCELLENT ! My wife and I understand that there is a sequence of events that must happen after a hurricane before rentals can resume, but our anniversary trip was salvaged and made possible by the owners. Very accommodating, made provisions so we could get into our unit, and made sure that our stay was complete and that we were treated fairly. They did things they didn't have to do and we didn't expect, but all I can say is, they took care of us. Grade - A +
The management company who is in charge of reservations and check in - UGH !!! Where do I start ? My guess is that they do fine if all they have to do is enter information into the computer and take your money. I could spend a long time about the 20 phone calls we made plus a dozen emails we sent, but to summarize, we could only speak with a rep IN FLORIDA from the 7th thru the 10th BECAUSE THE OFFICE ON THE ISLAND WAS CLOSED. I can understand it for the most part, but restaurants and hotels WERE OPEN ON THE 9th ! . Unreal. After you hear excuse after excuse after excuse and no way to speak to someone within 100 miles of the property even when business is resuming..... maybe they can see that it is 'an opportunity for improvement.....' Grade - F minus
Were we to have left it up to the management company , we would not be able to get in until the 12th. However, due to the owners intervention, we were able to get in on the 10th. So, on a positive note, this is a VERY NICE 1 BR condo, reasonably priced, on a quiet beach area, well stocked, and CLEAN. The owners are great to work with, and again, I thank them for enabling this trip to happen.
wonderful place to stay
The view is spectacular and the unit is beautifully laid out and convenient. It is clean, quiet and well maintained. The only downside is that the elevator was a little "iffy"; It hesitated and got a couple of false starts and then barely made it to the 2nd floor. For the rest of our stay we used the stairs to avoid the chance of getting trapped. I understand that it's scheduled for maintenance in March. Even so, I would not hesitate to stay there again. It's a great place.
