Relax and Enjoy this spacious and modern one bedroom two bathroom condo with high end remodel. This condo is on the second floor in a two story building so you have amazing vaulted ceilings and no one above you. This is a completely private one bedroom condo with your own private lanai. There are other one bedroom condos in the complex being rented which are part of one large unit so you share the interior space as well as half your lanai. This is not the case with our private lanai and private one bedroom with over 900 square feet, fully renovated and spacious.

Why Kathleen Barnes chose Wailea

The upscale community of Wailea is the perfect home base to explore all Maui has to offer. With wide streets and carefully manicured landscaping, Wailea has a fantastic country club feel. Being on the sunny south part of the island, you will notice the consistently beautiful weather without the winds you get on the west side of the island. The beaches are spectacular and nicely coved and gradually deepen which is nice for more novice swimmers. The Grand Champions Villas is a wonderful complex which has 12 acres of beautiful tropical landscaping. The two pools, one geared toward families and one quiet pool, give guests a great choice for playing in the pool or quietly reading. Two newly remodelled barbeques and hot tubs are also included in the pool area. Many complexes in Maui have a much higher number of units and only one pool so having two in our complex is a real luxury. The property is located between the Old Blue Golf Course and Wailea Tennis club so you do not have any other complexes siding the property. This is a great open feel compared to the more condensed area of Kihei.

We thoroughly enjoyed Kathleen's condo and her hospitality. The beds were comfortable. The condo had just been remodeled and was gorgeous. We could tell a lot of thought and detail went into each upgrade. The kitchen was well equipped, so we enjoyed cooking, and eating on the outdoor balcony. The ocean view was even better than we anticipated. Being on the second floor was a plus as we never heard noise from upstairs neighbors, which was a complaint of other quests staying at the Champions condos on lower floors. We loved that we were only a short walk to the quiet pool, which was quiet most of the time. We were not prepared for the heat and humidity of this summer so will likely return at a more temperate time of year. Both the living room and bedroom had air conditioners but we hated to have to use them!

This condo is amazing! It is clean, modern, comfortable and fully stocked with all amenities.

The complex has a great BBQ area with hot tub and pool. I travel a lot and this condo provided everything needed for a home away from home. You won't be disappointed!

Requests for late checkouts are subject to availability, must be requested in advance, extra charge for late checkouts up to 6 pm.
Rental Deposit: A $300 refundable deposit is taken to secure your dates. This deposit is held as
your damage/cleaning deposit. Within 7 days of checkout, your deposit will be returned back to you
in full as long as the unit is left in a tidy condition and there is no damage to the unit.
Full Rental Payment: Payment in full is due 60 days prior to check in.
Cancellation Policy:
We hope that you will be able to enjoy your vacation in paradise. In the unlikely event that you need to
cancel your reservation, the following will apply:
Cancellation prior to full payment: If you need to cancel prior to full payment, your rental deposit
will be refunded back to you minus a $100 administration fee.
Cancellation after full payment is received: : If you need to cancel prior to full payment, your
rental deposit will be refunded back to you minus a $100 administration fee. You will receive a pro rated
refund of your full rental amount based on the number of days that were able to be rebooked. If your
dates were not able to be rebooked, the rental payment would be forfeited.
Non Smoking Unit: This is a non smoking unit, there is no smoking allowed within the condo or
on the lanai. There is also no smoking allowed in the pool, hot tub and barbeque areas.
Quiet Hours: General Quiet shall prevail between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. In addition,
no person shall make or permit any disturbing noises, interfere with the rights, comforts or
convenience of other guests regardless of hour of the day.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
