The apartment was perfect. It was on the street level and was easily accessible. The apartment was very clean and well put together. It's a cute, cozy apartment and well decorated to feel very homey. The bed was comfortable and there was a portable AC unit that Marie and her Bed and Breakfast team put in the living room that I was able to use during the hot days I was there. I would absolutely stay there again. The neighborhood was very safe, had amazing food options and had wonderful brownstones all around. There were a ton of taxi's and Uber drivers were mostly available in that area. Additionally, the train station is about a 8-10min walk away so you can take that if you would like. Parking is tricky there because you need a parking permit to park over night - so you need to park at a public garage overnight for about $25+ per night.

Beautiful, convenient, comfortable.

Beautifully and thoughtfully designed and presented, this is a great place in a great location. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available, including laundry in the basement. There are great restaurants, cafes and wine shops nearby. The only challenge was parking, but that's to be expected. If you bring a car, read the posted signs carefully and plan accordingly. Read the posted signs up and down the block from your parking spot, too, because they might have vital information.

This place is expensive, but it's what the market currently reflects. Book it if you can.

Lovely small, well-appointed apartment

Enjoyed our stay in South Boston. Great location - close to transportation and easy to take mass transit to the airport. It was clean, comfortable, and had a nicely appointed kitchen. It is a lower level apartment so a bit dark, but is charming none the less. There was a large fan to cool, but we didn't see a heater.

Fine stay but could be better

The location of this apartment is definitely its biggest selling point. We spent four nights here and it was adequate. There were bunch of little things that when added all together made it hard to love it. I think a general walk through looking at it through the eyes of an unfamiliar guest would go a long way to improving the apartment. The bedroom/living room is all one room that opens out to the hall. There is no door and both entry doors are glass. With the location of the bed and the mirror in the hall, anyone looking in the door can see directly into the bed. This was extremely unsettling. The couch looked great in the pictures but when we sat on it the middle seemed broken and very uncomfortable. We couldn't figure out how to turn off the inner entry light but were afraid to push any buttons for fear of disturbing the neighbors and receiving a fine so it was on all night. There were used bath items - shampoo and razor in the shower area, some of the bath items were rusty and broken. The kitchen was huge and was a great part of the unit. Like others stated, the unit is very dark, even when turning on all of the additional lamps throughout. At first it was fine, but after a couple of days it got old not being able to brighten it.

Great location, nearby the city and walking distance to many great attractions!

My friend and I spent a long weekend here and place was perfect size for 2 people. The biggest plus was its location as we walked mostly everywhere. Also a short 20 minute car ride to the North End. Overall a great trip and stay at this home, had everything we needed! Only negative was the low water pressure in the shower and the bathroom floor wasn't swept that great when we got there.
