Peace and quiet, and comfort

  • 5 of 5

After a hectic month (6 months) arriving at this peaceful cabin, on a quiet street was heaven. Just the right size, we had plenty of room. Kitchen had a lovely window to watch the neighborhood, bed was comfortable, with a large window for air, and ceiling fan to keep it cool. full size appliances made meals easy, and the table, chairs with pads, and umbrella in the back was perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Extra towels, tiled shower, and plenty of space to put bathroom stuff away. We enjoyed the DVD's we brought on the large flat screen, had doors open and screened. Close to Tahoe Blvd, 2 meadows for long walks, close to Pioneer trail for a quick shot to Stateline. Easy to get to, we'll be back.

Cute and convenient

  • 5 of 5

We had a nice stay for the weekend at this cute little cabin. I didn't know there wasn't air conditioning, but there was a fan so we used that, as it was warm when we were there. We used the hiking trail near by, and the cabin wasn't in the middle of town so traffic and parking were fine. The TV worked well, the bed was comfortable. Texting the owner and getting a response was easy. Sitting outside in the back yard in the evening was pleasant. We would stay there again.

Perfect size for our family of three

  • 4 of 5

This cozy home was the perfect size for my husband, 15-month-old, and myself. I could easily keep an eye on my toddler while I prepped food for the day and the house was easy to child proof since it had soft furniture, no stairs, free of knick knacks, and doors that firmly closed. The location was within a short drive of restaurants, stores, hiking trails, and many other amenities we took advantage of. The owner was quick to respond whenever we had a question or concern. It was a great experience overall.

The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is that the backyard had a beautiful deck we were unable to use since it didn't have a railing and a steep drop off. There were four steps leading down to the ground area that my toddler was drawn too but no safe way of child proofing it without being within arm's reach.

Cute well kept property...

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I came up for a friends mid week wedding and stayed in this cute little cabin. When we travel we usually just stay in a hotel but I'm pregnant and have a lot of special dietary needs so having a kitchen was essential. Kevin the owner was extreamly nice and attaetive any time I sent an email he responded right away. The only issue we had had nothing to do with Kevin or his wonderful rental, the previous renters left trash in the outside bin which attracted a bear to come in for breakfast. Kevin had forworned us not to leave trash out there for that exact reason but apparently the previous renter didn't listen. Although I must admit it was really cool to see a bear that close and be safely inside. If your looking for a great place to stay in Tahoe for your weekend get away this place is perfect.
