The cabin is located on scenic Soda Creek in downtown Steamboat Springs. At the cabin, enjoy a meal or glass of wine on the back porch or upstairs deck overlooking the creek. In the Spring, you may even be able to catch a fish or two! The spacious, lush yard leaves plenty of room for outdoor activities and entertaining, as well! Just a few blocks to the epicenter of downtown, you can take a tour at The Tread of Pioneers Museum and Steamboat Art Museum, walk through the botanical gardens, go hiking and biking in several parks throughout and near town, go tubing on the Yampa River, ride waterslides and soak in the hot springs at Old Town Hot Springs (year-round), go skiing, snow tubing or ice skating, ride horses, or see the rodeo at Howelson Hill. Shopping, casual and fine dining, local breweries, live music, art crawls, and festivals throughout the year! FREE bus service runs throughout much of Steamboat all year long every 10-20 minutes, depending on the time of year. There are few, if any, places you would need your own transportation, as with many activities, transportation is either provided or offered. Ski, snowboard, and bicycle rentals and equipment are also offered downtown at a much reduced rate from the mountain. Other popular attractions include golfing, tennis, marathons and bicycle races (amateur and professional), snowmobiling and snowshoe rentals and tours, fishing, fly fishing, and hunting outfitters, snow tubing and/or a horse drawn, sleigh ride dinner at the famous Saddleback Ranch (transportation available with reservation). Just a few miles outside of town is another hot springs, Strawberry Park...a beautiful mountain setting and gorgeous drive with scenic overlooks and aspen trees aplenty. As with Old Town Hot Springs in downtown, it is open during the day and into the night. Also just a few miles away from downtown is Fish Creek Falls located at Routt National Forest, an impressive 283-foot waterfall where you can go hiking, climb boulders, or just take pictures! On the mountain, and just 3 miles and a 10 minute FREE bus ride away, enjoy day and night skiing, snowboarding, and snowbiking on 2965 acres and 165 permitted trails on Steamboat's famous Champagne Powder, shopping and dining, outdoor concerts and festivals. Gondola and Snow Cat rides are available for basic rides, skiing, apres ski, and dining! Other popular attractions are MusicFest (aka Texas Week) just after the new year in January, Winter Carnival every February, Steamboat Strings Music Festival, which showcases over 60 performances over the summer and short winter, and the Steamboat Free Concert Series, a summer tradition with free outdoor concerts throughout the summer! Just recently, Steamboat was ranked the #1 family ski resort in the U.S, and #3 ski resort overall. It truly is a memorable destination vacation!

What a setting! We really enjoyed our time in this quiet little slice of Steam Boat. Perfectly located, beautiful artwork, nice neighbors, within walking distance of some fabulous restaurants and great shopping! Hiking up around fish creek falls and later a nice soak at strawberry park, what a way to relax... can’t recommend this enough. thanks for having us!

Great cabin for a get-away

  • 5 of 5

This charming cabin was a great place to stay for a short get-away to Steamboat. We had two couples that stayed in the cabin and there was plenty of room for both of us. The cabin is walkable to downtown Steamboat and a short drive to other outdoor activities. We'd love to come back and stay longer in the future!

Charming cabin conveniently located near downtown Steamboat.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the convenient location and charm of this little cabin. It is located in a relatively secluded and quiet spot next to a small stream. There were only two of us, but the cabin would be easily comfortable for 4-6 people. Two nice sized bedrooms, one up and one down. A small living and kitchen area. There is a full bathroom on both the lower and upper levels of the cabin. The cable television and wifi worked very well with televisions in the main living area and each bedroom. A small room air conditioning unit cools the main living area, but just open the windows in the evening and turn off the air and the cool outside air takes over. We did not use the outside grill as there was bear scat in the yard the day we arrived and it just seemed simpler to avoid an issue with the local wildlife. The cabin comes pretty well equipped with all the necessities you will need during your stay. However, we found that a good review needs to take place of both kitchen items and linens. The kitchen is used by many people over time and eventually some items need updating or replacing. The beds and bed linens were great, but the bathroom towels are worn, a bit rough, and might need to be replaced in the future. Overall, we highly recommend this cabin. We enjoyed the cabin and the convenient location and would readily stay here again.

Great cabin blocks away from main street

  • 4 of 5

Loved the location and stream was great for our 2 yr old (in sept). Wish there was more comfortable furniture to enjoy both inside and out. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable. We rented bikes at orange peel and rode along the yampa core trail. It was a blast! Overall Steamboat is a fun destination and this was a great place to enjoy it.

Great location right on Soda Creek and close to town!

  • 4 of 5

Nice cozy 2 bedroom place with relaxing sounds of river right out the door. Upstairs gets a little hot in summer since there is no A/C up there. Laundry is a bonus if you are in the middle of a long trip. Easy walk/bike to town and other trails are nearby. Kids loved throwing rocks in river!
