A relaxing ocean-front retreat, yet close enough to Saint Augustine to explore its ancient streets, sample its delightful food, and shop at its many stores and outlets, Summerhouse is situated on the south end of Crescent Beach, FL and immediately north of Marineland. It is just 25 minutes south of St. Augustine & 20 minutes north of Palm Coast.

The second-story beach condo affords breathtaking views, be it through the noise dampening sliding glass doors on the main level or from the dark wood chairs facing the ocean on the balcony. Guests can open windows or doors to listen to the pounding of the surf, or close them to create a sense of being away from it all.

The home has been tastefully decorated by an interior designer and outfitted with modern amenities, including two flat-screen TVs (with Cable & DVD players), WiFi internet access, plantation shutters, an electric grill, and indoor or outdoor dining options. The condo also comes with central air and ceiling fans.


The condo community offers guests access to 4 heated pools, 6 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, and 2 racquetball courts, as well as direct access to the beach. Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, and a clubhouse with a fitness center are also available. The community maintains an on-site office which is staffed from 9am to 5pm daily, and employs a night manager to handle anything which may arise at other times.


There is on-site reserved parking for one vehicle, with an additional space available upon request.


There is an onsite office which will check you in and provide you with the keys to the condo and your parking pass(es). You may check in anytime after 3pm. Please return the keys to the same location. Check-out time is 10am.


Please note that there is a $110 cleaning fee. A 6% Florida sales-tax and 4% Florida bed-tax is applied to all reservations.

About Todd Silverstein

I've wanted to live on the beach ever since I was a kid growing up in north-central Florida, about as far from the beach as a Floridian can be. So when I got the chance, I purchased this condo - which is perfectly situated to be far enough from the hustle and bustle to be a relaxing retreat, yet close enough to Saint Augustine and Palm Coast that all the benefits of city-life are close at hand. Work and family are taking me out of the area quite a bit though, and I'm listing my home here as a result.

Crescent Beach is a beautiful white-sand beach, and the southern end of it is less crowded than points north. On a clear night, the lack of light pollution allows you to see an incredible array of stars. Gazing at the vastness of the night sky while listening to the surf is something special. It's also an easy drive to downtown Saint Augustine, which is a city with beautiful architecture, a rich history, and an incredible array of shops, events, and restaurants.

Views for days.....

My children and I stayed in this beautiful condo for 4 days. We had a constant stream of visitors-friends and family- who rotated in and out. There was plenty of room for everyone and something to keep everyone busy. It is perfectly situated between two of the four pools, just steps from 2 different beach access points and overlooks one of the prettiest and quiet beaches in Florida. Sitting on the balcony with my coffee in the morning watching the surf roll in and the sun come up was existential. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is perfectly stocked for any eventuality but I was on vacation so the 10 minute drive to St. Augustine Beach restaurants was great. Enjoy!

We could not have been more please with the condo. Like previous reviewers have said, the views are fantastic and the condo is very clean and well appointed. A better frying pan is the only thing we'd recommend. No big deal, after all it's a vacation house. We've vacationed at Summerhouse for several years and liked it so much we retired to St. Augustine Beach. When we stayed this time, we were actually in-transit to our new home. The condo certainly get our new life on to a great start. We would definitely recommend this condo.

Beach Relaxation - The Best!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The AMAZING views (and sounds of the waves) from both the living room balcony and the master bedroom put this vacation home over the top. Everything is clean and updated. There is a TV on each floor, in case the family wants to watch different things. But, the beach and pool access can't be topped! We plan to return to this condo many times over the years!

Superior Accomodations, Highly Recommend

Staying in the spacious, well appointed, clean condo made this our best beach vacation so far. The condo is so well layed out and comfortable with plenty of room. We had 5 guests in the condo and never had to bump into each other, until we wanted to, and then we were able to congregate in comfort in the living room/dining area. The views from the condo upstairs and downstairs are breathtaking and the beds and bathrooms were perfect. We definitely could have stayed longer, and next time we will!

Located just north of Marineland and nearby to the beautiful Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, this beach-front unit has direct access to Crescent Beach and is also extremely close to the FL inter-coastal and the Fort Matanzas National Monument.

Fishermen can often be found on the bridge within walking distance to the south, and downtown St. Augustine, with its ancient streets and modern amenities is a short 25 minute drive north.

For those who want to get even closer to nature, Marineland offers the Dolphin Adventure in which you can swim with dolphins, and the Saint Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park is just 12.2 miles north.

Multiple golf courses can be found nearby, and the community maintains tennis, racquetball, and basketball courts on site, and provides access to multiple heated pools.

A Publix grocery store can be found approximately 8 to 9 miles either north or south, and there is a mid-week farmer's market at Saint John's County pier 10 miles north as well as a Sunday farmer's market at Marineland (10am to 2pm).

The unit comes with 1 reserved space and 1 guest space. Parking passes are available at the on-site office, from 9am to 5pm. The office staff are extremely friendly and are available to answer any and all questions you may have.

Cancellations made at least 91 days prior to your scheduled arrival will be fully refunded, except for $55.
Cancellations made at any other time will forfeit the entire rental amount.

Any refunds provided will exclude the $50 non-refundable reservation fee. Pets are not allowed on the property.
