Plenty of space, great location, lovely property.
Everything we needed. Everyone had their own bed and plenty of space. Location on the lake was awesome. Everything we needed was available, plenty of cooking supplies, pillows, etc. Could use a few extra board games or a deck of cards, but we made out ok, lol! Owner was very responsive amd helpful. Totally plan on coming back.
A wonderful place to stay.
Had a wonderful time, the house and location couldn't be better. House is very nice and kitchen is well appointed. Everything was clean and ready to go.
The property is very nice. The walk to the lake isn't bad at all, the trail is well maintained. The dock is excellent, I wish the lake wasn't down because I bet there is fantastic fishing from the dock when the lake is up.
Damariscotta did not disappoint as well. Everyone caught plenty of fish and the house being situated mid-lake made getting around easy.
We are all looking forward to coming back!
Rustic lakeside log home
We loved our stay here! The house and setting was just beautiful, spacious and comfortable, room for our seven family members to spread out and relax. Carla was great, very accomadating, and we appreciate her opening up her home to us. Highly recommend!
Beautifully located, quiet and private. The house was exquisite and comfortable
We had a wonderful time! The house is as described, but better. The lake perfect. We swam, relaxed ate and laughed.
The house was amazing! I can't think of anything we had to do without. The hosts were helpful and kind.
Can't wait to return! What a gem!
Thank you for sharing your lovely house! My dad wants to know who the builder was.
Lovely house. Lovely weather. Quiet location. Accomodating hosts.
We loved the roomy house. Space for everyone!
Beautiful well designed house with large comfortable rooms
We had a wonderful time in your house in the woods! It was a great stay for my family of adult children and grandchildren. We had plenty of space to spread out and to come together at the large table or on the large porch. My grandson (10 yrs) and my granddaughter (7 yrs) caught fish every day off the dock. We practiced "catch and release" so there are still plenty of fish for others. We appreciated your attention to details for our newest grandchild - the pack and play, high chair, crib and gates on the staircase. That was so helpful for the family of the 12 month old (and us). We also appreciated the mooring for the boat we rented. After we returned the boat, the mooring gave us all a place to swim to and around as we played in the water.
We had a great two weeks and hope to return again next summer!
It was a pleasure having your family stay at our home. We appreciate you take care of our home as if it was your own. After having grandchildren of our own we realize how important it is to have things for families with small children. We look forward to having you stay again in the future.
A day trip to Round Pond, New Harbor, and Pemaquid with light house, sandy beach, rocky coast, Hardy Boat ride to Monhegan Island, antique shops, and art galleries are all things you will find along the way.
