All the modern amenities with a rustic charm!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and comfortable! Came up from Florida with 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room! Kids loved playing outside and going down to the lake. It was hotter than we expected and we were thrilled there was air conditioning. Some of us had work obligations and the wifi worked great. There was even satellite tv which was great for the start of football season! All of these luxuries yet we were still in a log cabin down a dirt road in the middle of the woods and able to disconnect and enjoy nature and family. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome big rental with plenty of space and water frontage!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this property and we love it!!! The house has plenty of space for everyone (6 people and a dog) and we really enjoyed the ability to spread out or come together for dinner, games, or a movie. The huge porch and smaller (but still big) entry porch are great. The kitchen and baths are modern and have everything you want to be comfortable. Our first stay we were expecting something more rustic and were very pleasantly surprised! The fire pit is great and we used it several times. The fire pit and dock are a short walk from the house via a walking trail but we brought kayaks down with no problem. The dock and water area are so beautiful and peaceful - perfect for relaxing, swimming, and taking out a boat. The lake is gorgeous and so big that we barely scratched the surface when exploring. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Beautiful House by the Lake

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time vacationing as a family in this house. The location could not be more perfect for exploring all of the wonderful small towns that dot the Maine coast. We also enjoyed the lake, which is so accessible and beautiful to look at. The house itself was perfect for our party of 6 and 2 pets, and could have held many more quite comfortably! The owners of the house were also lovely to work with and we had such a great experience from start to finish. We could not recommend this house enough!

So conveniently located between Camden and Boothbay Harbor with so many cute towns in between. Beautiful interior with wonderful front porch for early breakfasts. Very comfortable beds! Fishing was good off the end of the dock when the sun went down. Thank you for allowing our labrador to share in our vacation. Highly recommended.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Only stayed three nights, but will definitely rent again if available. Our four year-old grandson didn't want to leave, and neither did the rest of the family! Fishing off the dock, fire pit, plenty of room in the house, well furnished and comfortable, all the appliances you would need, and close to Red's Eats and Sarah's Cafe in Wiscasset, and Boothbay Harbor. The owners, Carla and Phil were great, going out of their way to help us out.
