Notes:
This is a very unique property located in one of the most renowned skiing towns in america, Big Sky, Montana. It is home to some of the best views Big Sky has to offer. It overlooks Big Sky Valley, Big Sky Resort and Lone Peak, the Yellowstone Club, and the rugged Spanish Peaks mountains. The setting is a high ridge just east of Big Sky. This property enjoys some of the best sunsets in Big Sky and the best star gazing around. Although Big Sky is a winter haven, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the summer months. Take a hike amongst the abundance of wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature while only being a few miles from all the amenities you need. Enjoy golf, biking, rafting, kayaking and rock climbing to name a few activities. Also save a day to adventure through Yellowstone National Park which is home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of buffalo and elk. It is a 50 mile drive to the West entrance of the park.

Wonderful stay, will return!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful cabin, immaculately clean and cozy, fantastic views of the mountains and meadows. Hot tub was very relaxing after a long day. Listened to the elk bugling at night while sitting on the porch. Note, 64 is the road to turn on, it was a little confusing from the directions but we figured it out. We will definitely return!

fantastic.

The cabin was wonderful. Very clean and very charming. A bit of a drive from the Big Sky village, but not bad - about 10-15 minutes. We enjoyed the back road up Beaver Creek Drive from Highway 191. Lovely scenery and wildlife. Saw a black bear and her 2 cubs, deer and fox. a lot to do in the area! I would highly recommend it.

Great place, beautiful views

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 4, including 2 kids - ages 5 and 12 had a wonderful time here! It is definitely a remote and quiet location but still not too far of a drive from Big Sky or Yellowstone, which is what brought us to Montana. Our only criticism is that none of the pictures or description of the cabin indicated that there are 2 cabins on this 40-acre property within 30 feet of each other. Two people were staying in the other cabin while we were there, but since we were gone a lot during the day, we didn't see them much during our stay. We just would've preferred to know beforehand that there was another cabin right next to the one we rented. We would definitely stay again here, though!

Absolutely Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

My sisters, adult daughter, and I took a girls vacation. This was probably the best vacation any of us have had (and between us we have traveled extensively in and out of the US). The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Cozy, clean, quiet, and very well equipped (we did not want for anything and ate in 90% of our meals although there are options in town). If you need anything at all, Nathan or the management team are EXTREMELY prompt and kind. The error that occurred for us was on OUR part, not the owners but he was kind and thorough in helping me rectify the problem. The area was beautiful with lots to do. We hiked, white-water rafted, drove to Yellowstone, and went sight-seeing for wildlife. On the cabin mountain we saw bear, grouse, deer, coyote, elk and heard wolves. At Yellowstone we saw big horn sheep, mountain goat, elk, bison and elk. The drive to West Yellowstone is easy and convenient but there is a lot of driving involved IN Yellowstone if you want to see wildlife. A very relaxing and fun-filled vacation. We hope to bring our father back next year. I would highly recommend this property.

Mountain Meadows Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We always seek out places that are away from everything and this property delivered. The cabin is very comfortable and the amenities were exactly what was needed.

The driving from Bozeman to the cabin was easy and also the travel to Yellowstone National Park. Lots of driving, but the scenic views made up for the distance.

The night sky at the cabin was amazing and the views overlooking Big Sky.

We recommend this rental and we look forward to returning.

This was a beautiful cabin and the pictures do it no justice. Everything there was perfect.

  • 5 of 5

Driving up the mountain to the cabin we saw elk, ram, deer and moose. When we arrived the view was like out of a magazine. The accommodations were fantastic. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. It was so cozy. It was great sitting in the hot tub out on the deck and watching the sun set behind the mountains. Big Sky was 1 hour from the west entrance to Yellowstone and was an easy drive. We also went on a hike at the bottom of the mountain 10 mins from the cabin and it was great. Overall this was a fantastic property that I would stay at again in a heartbeat. Thank you Nathan for sharing your beautiful cabin with my family. We made some great memories.
