Remodeled in 2003 and 2005, this property offers high quality features, 14 foot high ceilings, a beautifully landscaped private walkway leading to a majestic wood sculpted French front door as well as a 3 car garage, all conveniently located at the end of a cul de sac allowing kids to safely play, bike or skateboard outside.

The kitchen is fully equipped with every chef's needs.. The large adjacent family room allows you to stay connected with your guests or keep an eye on the children.

The Master bedroom has a Cal King bed, modern sleek furniture, large walk in closet, a spacious bathroom offering 2 sinks, a jetted bathtub with a view and a separate shower, and is located on one side of the property with direct access to the outdoor Jacuzzi,. The adjacent guest room has an en-suite full bathroom, a Queen bed, and a cozy window seat. The other 3 bedrooms are located on the other side of the house and can accommodate up to 7 children. Bedroom 3 has an en-suite bathroom and Full/Double bed. Bedroom 4 has a Full/Double bed and shares a bathroom with Bedroom 5 with a bunk bed consisting of a Full/Double below and a single/twin above..

Guests will appreciate taking advantage of all the different seating areas, either inside the house or outside on the deck and 2 patios fully furnished with dining tables in the shade or lounge chairs around the pool. About Eric VIGOUROUX and Jenn Hegemier

We are a family originally from France. We moved from Paris to San Diego in 2008 with our two daughters. Since then we had two more kids and became all US Citizens in 2015! We love our new life in California but like to go back to France every summer to visit our families and of course enjoy our fabulous gastronomy :-)

This vacation rental is managed by Vacation Rentals by Jenn, and we are happy to offer personal concierge services available through her business. Why Eric VIGOUROUX and Jenn Hegemier chose La Jolla Alta

I used to travel pretty often to San Diego when I was running my business in France because most of my suppliers are established in this area. My wife and myself wanted to experience a new life in a different country so we immediately thought that California would be the perfect destination. As a result we decided in summer 2006 to rent an RV in San Francisco and travelled from there to San Diego via Los Angeles during there weeks with the goal to find which city would fit us the best. With no hesitation San Diego was our number one choice. This is for sure one of the best (if not the best) place in the world to raise kids and have a great family life. There so much to do like all kind of outdoor sports, water sports, dinning, shopping, nature, life style, etc.. . Another very interesting thing for us is to be so close from Mexico. Since we have discovered the wonders of Baja California we try to go there as often as possible. The peninsula of Baja California is a huge territory surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Sea Of Cortez. The desert is beautiful and the nature is very well preserved so it is a must to live just 45 minutes from Tijuana where there is an international airport.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with this property from our very first visit because it has all we can expect for a large family. It is perfectly located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood between La Jolla Village and Pacific beach (10mn away from both areas) and just 5 mn from the French American school of La Jolla. Our home is situated almost on the top of Mount Soledad and offers amazing unobstructed 180° views on pretty much everything in San Diego Area (down town, Ocean, bay, canyon, Seaworld, etc.). Because our property is nestled in a cul de sac, kids can play safely in our drive way and street thanks to the very limited traffic which is very important to us.

Beautiful home, fantastic location

My husband and three teens stayed at this beautiful home for 9 nights over Christmas and New Years. The views of San Diego and the southern shoreline are spectacular. The home was immaculate, linens and towels very nice. Bedding was all extremely comfortable - except one room had more of a thin mat rather than a full mattress - which was fine for us as we did not need all five bedrooms. The other 4 were fantastic. Wonderful to have a blow drier and toiletries in every bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, as we cooked in many nights. Very nice to have basic spices, S&P, olive oil, coffee pods, etc already in the home. The outdoor dining spaces were spectacular and we loved the use of a very clean outdoor grill. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our teens. Very clean, very safe with a full gate around the pool. Location was great for us - a short 1.5 mile walk to Mt. Soledad Memorial for stunning sun rises. 2.5 mile walk down to Bird Rock Roasters for morning coffee and a great 2.5 mile walk back up for a great workout. So close to La Jolla village, but very peaceful and private while on this quiet cul-de-sac. Fantastic movie screen in the living room. Entertainment (TVs) in the living room and family room a little complicated with multiple remotes and lengthy instructions but workable. Wifi signals were always strong, but there were 4 "zones" and we would often get bumped off of one and would have to reconnect frequently. Not a big deal at all, but having seamless wifi would be nice, as husband had to work while on the trip. Loved the outdoor ping pong table. Communication with Jenn, the manager, was very easy. She was always very quick to respond. We would definitely stay again!

Forever Views exceeded all of our expectations!

My husband and I wanted to bring both sides of our families together to celebrate our son's baptism. We booked Forever Views because we wanted everyone in a beautiful, shared space without the hassle of separate hotels. The house and amenities (pool, hot tub, outdoor seating, dining spaces and the ping pong table) were absolutely perfect! The kitchen is well planned out and fully stocked with every convenience which allowed us to make and enjoy our family meals together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Honestly, this property was more perfect than even the pictures convey. We had an incredible time and will always remember this amazing family vacation.

great house in a great environment, in a great city

the 13 of us (6 adults and 7 kids aged 2-12) have spent a wonderful week in forever view villa.

The house was very well adapted for our 3 families, everybody having the possibility to enjoy their own privacy (one bathroom in every adult bedroom), and at the same time enjoying the space all together either inside or outside.

The pool area is wonderful and also very well protected for young kids, the view fabulous, the area very quiet.

Close to everything, even during summer time.

Great hosts and very good local support from Jenn, well before and during the stay. We have used baby -sitting services to enjoy some nights out either in la Jolla or in Coronado Island. Kids and adults have enjoyed San Diego Zoo and Seaworld, as well as la Jolla beaches!
