Newly renovated (2015) luxurious 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom condo facing the lake. Ground floor (perfect for 55+). Corner unit, lots of natural light. This suite was professionally decorated. King bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in the second bedroom. The condo is fully equipped with all you need, even a set of golf clubs. Everything is brand new (2015) - furniture, mattresses, linen, dishes, utensils etc. Large lanai with cozy furniture - best feature about the condo, right next to the lake and fountains, perfect for hours of relaxation. The condo is located in a gated Serenata complex (beautiful heated pool, lighted tennis court, fitness room, etc, in the complex). The condo has the best location in Serenata (!) - closest to the lake fountain, corner unit, ground floor.

Hight Speed Internet, phone and fully loaded cable TV in the condo.

Walking distance to groceries, pharmacies, restaurants and shops.

15-20 minutes to Siesta Key beach (2015 awarded #1 U.S. Beach)

To introduce ourselves, my wife and I are Canadians from Montreal area. We recently purchased this vacation home to escape our long and cold winters.

We have it mainly set up for ourselves to enjoy, but when not using it, we certainly don't mind lending it out to the right people.

For these reasons alone, we decided to decorate it in a beautiful Cape Cod setting, accentuated with a fresh new modern look to give it that extra panache.

We also made sure that every detail was catered to, starting from the opulent fine linens, to the plush cushioned outdoor seating, to even the best beer cooler money can buy.

We chose to buy this property for two reasons. First because it is in Sarasota. I've been to many places in Florida and Sarasota is by far the best place to be. What originally drew me here were Siesta Keys pristine white sand beaches made up of volcanic ash. Never in my life did I experience as beautiful of a beach as Siesta Keys. Once you get past the beautiful beaches, only then do you realize just how much more Sarasota has to offer. Live theater, chic boutiques and shops, amazing food, art galleries and anything else you can possibly imagine.

Second was the condition of our condo and how it was being managed? It is a gated community where everything from the grounds, to the pool are kept to the very highest standards. Chris, the General Manager, ensures that everything in the gated complex is in immaculate condition. The condos themselves are quite new. The type of people living there are comprised of retired Canadians and Americans vacationing for the winter, a fun group of young entertainers who perform down the street at the Atolo theatre, and working professionals.

The grounds are comprised of gorgeous lake views, lush gardens, and a world class pool resort. To top it off, it is also completely central to everything in Sarasota. You are steps away from all the restaurants, shopping, entertainment and the downtown district. Location wise, it simply could not get any better.

  • In choosing the bedding, I firmly believe that having a good nights sleep is one of the most important aspects of any vacation. I chose to use only the finest premium quality linens & duvets, furnished with the most sizable king and queen beds with deluxe mattresses. This was done with the utmost intent of giving you an unsurpassed experience in total comfort and relaxation while spending your nights in complete serenity. The new ceiling fans also add a gentle breeze similar to that of the beach. This should put you at complete ease as soon as you enter the room.

Condo was great, complex has everything you need, location is perfect. You can walk to stores and restaurants, nine miles to Lido key beach, many historical areas to visit in the Sarasota area.

Home away from home.

We stayed in this condo for two months in 2016. We found it to be a home away from home. It is very comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated, and extremely well equipped. Grocery shopping was easy, with Publix, Starbucks and CVS all within walking distance and other specialty stores such as Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Fresh Market within easy driving distance. The area is also well serviced by many restaurants and a brand new shopping mall. The local Keys are within easy driving distance with access to many beaches. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it for a short or long term stay. The owners are very helpful and promptly respond to any questions you may have.
