Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Although it rained most of the time during our stay, we would stay again at Vinovilla. The view is beautiful and the home was plenty big for all our family.. Thank you
A great place to celebrate a milestone birthday
It rained everyday and didn't hamper our stay The view was great and we played board games and had a fantastic stay.
We stayed at the Vinovilla and had an enjoyable time. The view was fantastic. The Kitchen is wonderful for a large group with two sinks, two ovens, two dishwashers, and a large cooking space. Although the view of the ocean from the Kitchen and Dining Room areas is nice, the view from the upper level living area is fabulous.
The house takes a while to heat up in cold weather, because of the radiant heat, and it was 36 degrees outside when we arrived. There are many light switches and lights around the house and it was a guessing game trying to turn on the the right ones.
Overall it was a very nice weekend. We even had a sunny Saturday in a very wet February.
Great view and access to beach. House needs better maintenance and cleaning.
Our family rented this house over Christmas break with two other families. We go away annually and have for nine years, so we're no strangers to renting houses. When we arrived, there was no heat in the house at all. The house has radiant heat, and even after their handyman came out (the next two after the first of many was already sick), the heat only worked in the basement and we could only run two space heaters simultaneously on the main floor without blowing a fuse. The radiant heating system never did work on the two main floors. We were left to keep a fire going at all times and bundling up. The worst thing is they were aware of the issue to some degree already. They also hadn't prepared the house and didn't try to heat it up for us before we arrived. The weather was in the low 40s and it was pouring outside.
Secondly, the place was filthy. The furniture had huge stains all over it, , the bathroom fixtures were grimy and rusty, and the floors were sandy and gross and had hair everywhere. Almost everything we touched was broken. We had called in advance to see the Wii worked, they told us it did, and when we got there, it didn't work at all. They said they were going to order a new system, and it never came even after we repeatedly asked about the status. The pool table was broken, only two of the three TVs worked, the hot water heater had very little capacity, the "washed" sheets had sand and hair in them, and even the firewood didn't burn properly.
We called multiple times and they did send people out with more space heaters (but we could only run to at once on the main floor), and some wood, but couldn't really do anything else for us. They did offer us a $400 refund, but when we followed up to ask for slightly more (the cost of one full night), they never got back to us and still haven't. At this point, I don't think we're receiving anything.
The two things we did like were the beautiful view (it was that) and the kitchen, which was well appointed. But definitely not enough for us to go back. The owners clearly don't care. For anyone with children who need heat or anyone who likes things even moderately clean, don't rent this house.
