North Street is often regarded as the one of the nicest streets on the 'Hill' and you will not be disappointed in this compact but well equipped urban apartment with driveway parking for one car.

This antique bungalow duplex apartment includes one bedroom with a queen size bed, a sofa bed in the living room, one bathroom and a complete kitchen with dishwasher and separate laundry area. Hardwood and tile floors. Bicycle storage is available in the basement.

The most significant feature of Munjoy Hill is the magnificent Eastern Promenade. This popular park has amazing water vistas and a sunrise view over the Calendar Islands of Casco Bay and Portland Head Light. The park includes East End Beach, picnic areas, a municipal boat launch, playgrounds and tennis courts. Along the waterfront, the shore way trail connects with the Baxter Boulevard trail and the Old Port-- all suitable for walking, running, and cycling. Another park on North Street offers spectacular sunset views of downtown.

Exceptional Stay! Perfect location!

This wonderful apartment/duplex met all of our expectations. Extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. Ann and Steve were easily accessible and truly cared about our comfort. The Munjoy hill location provided easy access to the bus line. Although we walked into Old Port several times, it was nice to have the option of using the bus after a day of adventure and exploring. We walked to the Eastern Promenade for picnics and sunrises and watched the sunset over the community garden, just down the street. Hilltop Suprette, a few blocks from the apartment, provided a great spot for snacks, drinks and other essentials. Safe and friendly neighborhood (though that's not hard to find in Portland) . Overall it was a terrific rental for our purposes-exploring the city, relaxing on the front porch and fact-finding for retirement. Thank you Ann and Steve, for a wonderful stay! We would happily recommend your property to others!
