Eclipse Week

  • 5 of 5

Tree tops is everything you could ask for a family get together. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The wrap around porch was ideal for morning coffee or an afternoon/evening refreshment. The lower floor den was very well equipped with games and a great play area for youngsters. Overall Tree Tops was the best VBRO experience.

Beautiful home, beautiful location

The seven of us had a great Labor Day weekend stay at Tree Tops. We have been having this Labor Day "mini-reunion" for 7 years and we all agreed this was the best yet. No detail is overlooked.

Lovely Get-A-Way on a Mountain Top

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to get away for a short vacation with our 2 kids and their significant others to celebrate our 18th anniversary from August 5-8. It was so worth the drive up the mountain to the little oasis that is called Tree Tops.

We were looking for a place that was quiet and offered suites for each of the couples as well as space to hang out on the porch and just relax. The bonus of an amazingly well stocked kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals together and the hot tub and all the birds that visited just made it more special.

We played games and did a jigsaw puzzle (which we left for future guests) and napped and also had a fabulous time Whitewater River Rafting one afternoon. A special thank you to the owners who responded to us so quickly when there was a mix-up with the cabin being ready for our arrival. They immediately got a cleaning crew there and in addition refunded a portion of our money to make up for the inconvenience. High marks to them for their kindness and professionalism.

We would definitely return for another visit and highly recommend Treetops if you are considering a visit to this gorgeous area.

My family spent a memorable week at Treetops cabin; one we will cherish forever. My mom enjoyed the master suite on the main floor, while my brother and sister in law took one of the upstairs bedrooms, and my husband and I took the other. Two of the 3 teenage boy cousins shared the downstairs bunk beds and one slept on the futon upstairs. The bunk bed was a bit short , especially the top for the boys (5-10"), but they made it work. One VERY nice feature of this rental for me is the fact that it had 4 full baths and 1 1/2 bath. This is a huge plus!!!!!! Also, I loved the wood and tile flooring. They create a sense of cleanliness that carpeted flooring cannot exude. Since we had 9 people staying in the home, the large fully equipped kitchen and kitchen table were a great feature. Also, we greatly enjoyed the fire pit and large porch. We spent mornings and evenings sharing stories and conversation there. I truly don't have anything negative to say about the home only maybe a few things to be aware of. For us the location was too far from the activities we desired to do. We ended up spending at least 2 hours round trip driving everyday. Mountain miles are driven mostly at about 35 mph and it can be stressful for those not accustomed to the drive. With that said, we did not let that fact hinder our planned activities. Ultimately, we had a wonderful time at Treetops, one which will be loved and remembered for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for sharing your home.
