2 Bedroom 1 Bath with Kitchen, Dining and Family Living Area
About Dee Kobi
Our family is originally from Rochester, Minnesota. We moved to Longville after retirement in 2004. We really enjoy the community and surrounding area. In 2014 we decided to open our guest cabin so others could share the experience.
Dee Kobi purchased this Studio in 2004
Why Dee Kobi chose Longville
Papa Kobi was born in Hackensack and always wanted to return to the area so when he retired the lakehome search began. We chose this home because of the town with a clinic, library, grocery store and unique shopping. We fell in love with the home because of its large yard for the grandkids to play, the quiet setting and the ample indoor space.
What makes this Studio unique
We are within walking distance to town but have a peaceful, quiet setting.

Quiet, clean, place. Dee was very helpful. We had a great time on the lake with boat and canoe. Relatively short driving distance from several State and National parks and refuge/preserves.
This was a great unit, clean and nice. Although small was accurately described and met all our needs. Dee and her family were very helpful. We would stay again
Fishing trip weekend
Great place. Great location and had a great time
Clean peaceful and quiet with all amenities
Very nice! Clean and cozy!
The place had everything we needed. Longville is awesome! Highly recommend it.
Great Get Away
We loved our visit! The cabin is much bigger and nicer than the pictures. The bunk beds were taken down to make two twin beds, which was a plus. The cabin is above a garage and fairly new & clean located in a back channel and not on the lake. There was a canoe available to paddle to the lake with. It has a shallow dock to fish from. I'd stay here again and recommend it!
Longville, Minnesota---a little town with a lot to offer! Longville is the perfect place to come and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. When you think about Longville, think Mayberry! Longville is famous for it's Turtle Races--held every Wednesday and a family tradition for decades. The turtle races are a huge attraction and have a carnival like feel to them--you can play games, eat summer treats and win prizes while spending the afternoon in town.
This is the perfect spot for a getaway and a place where you can make some wonderful memories. Longville is located on Girl Lake, which is part of the Woman Lake Chain. If you like to fish--the area is chock full of lakes of all sizes. You can fish a different lake every day if you'd like!
The area also offers great golfing, many scenic bike trails and opportunities for all sorts of shopping and antiquing. If you like to get dirty and want to take your ATV out for a ride through the woods, there are lots of trails available for you too. If you need to do laundry, Longville has a full laundromat in town.
Longville is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive from our property. Once in Longville, there is plenty to do. You can meet friends and have a cup of coffee or dinner at one of the restaurants. You can stroll down Main Street and do some shopping, get a bit of fudge, or stop by the library to borrow a book or a movie. If you are in need of bait or desire to rent a kayak or boat, it's all available in Longville. There are also several specialty shops where you can buy unique souvenirs to take home. Longville also has a fun mini golf course complete with a water balloon battle area-it's a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.
At the end of a long day on the boat or before calling it a day, we highly recommend a stop at Frosty's for some delicious ice cream or pizza. You can dock your boat in town at the city dock. There is a new boat access less than a mile away.
If you want to explore the area a bit, Longville is about a half hour drive east from Leech Lake and Walker. We are one hour north of Brainerd and about an hour southeast of Bemidji (home of Paul Bunyan). The area is surrounded by State Parks and National Forests (including Itasca and Chippewa). Longville is 2 hours west of Duluth-another beautiful area to explore during your stay.
