Clean, basic apartment in a good location
Apartment was clean.
AC worked great.
Location was good. Away from the crowds at Plaza Mayor or Peurto de Sol, but easy to get to the metro to travel anywhere in the city. Lots of great local bars and restaurants nearby.
Location is the one positive feature
It's difficult to write a less than glowing review but this has not been a favorite rental. The very positive side is it is in an easy walking location to the palace, Plaza Espana, and many other worthy sites. The down side is it had all the charm of a Motel 6 from the 70s. I will say the space is clean, but quite worn, from the chipped tubs in the bathroom, to the very old formica in the kitchen. If you are not from the city, plan on sleeping in one of the twin beds in the back. The traffic noise in the front master bedroom is pretty loud, and they gather trash from 1-3 am in madrid. This space is setup for 4 people but that sofa is the only comfortable seating in the flat, so someone would be out of luck or they would have to sit at the table featured in the picture. There was Nothing in the kitchen to get started, as in some units we have rented in other countries. No coffee, tea, or even condiments, so plan accordingly if you will be using the kitchen for your stay. We noticed this in another unit we rented in San Sebastian, so it may be a Spanish thing, but the Kitchen is completely bare, save the necessary dishes, glassware etc. Also, they tend to be stingy with towels and toilet paper, though they kindly gave us an extra roll when we went and requested it. Again, its not a bad place for the location, just pretty Spartan.
Wohnung sehr sauber, Betten bequem. Wir kommen gerne wieder
