Bungalow in Rhosneigr, Anglesey, North Wales. Close to Beach and Villiage
My wife and I have been bringing the children on holiday to Rhosneigr for many years and have always dreamt of owning a house there. Mor-a-Llyn came up for sale and with some juggling, we managed to buy the house. We then spent over a year nipping back and fourth decorating and modernising trying to give it a relaxed beachy feel. We hope you enjoy your stay
Paul purchased this House in 2014
Why Paul chose Rhosneigr
The house is on a quiet street just out of the way of the busy high street. There is plenty of parking and a safe garden for children. The interior has a nice airy feel about it and you have a view of the sea from the back garden. There are also good views of Snowdonia and lake Maelog

Spacious seaside home with beach-themed internal decor
Comfortable internal space in good location for Rhosneigr beach. Lovely sunsets and close to fabulous The Oystercatcher - great place for drink or meal as the sun goes down. Good base for exploring Anglesey. External appearance doesn't do justice to the interior!
Nice house in a good location ideal for the town and beach
This beach-themed house is well located for the town and beach. We visited at the hight of summer and location was ideal as it was a very quiet road with plenty of off road parking. There was plenty of space inside although the outside could definitely do with a little TLC.
This house is 4 bedroomed but you do need to bear in mind that the top 2 bedrooms are in the eves and up an open tread stair so would not be suitable for young children or the elderly. One of these had a day bed and roll out bed so only suitable for older children.
This is a nice house in a good location but could do with some maintenance work to bring back up to standard.
Rhosneigr is a lovely town with cafes, pubs, a few shops and a really lovely beach.
We had a lovely weekend with family and friends . The house was in a perfect location and suited our needs mainly . However we had to borrow kitchen equipment from local friends including mugs, a teapot , tray and juice jug . I felt the kitchen was not well resourced . The toaster half broken . The kitchen windows had no key so when cooking it was hot . The sliding living room doors didn’t work which prevented us going into the garden . The garden was scruffy and full of weeds . Grass uncut . Not very attractive .
Needs some TLC .

Sept 2018. Cosy cottage in great location
Thank you for a lovely holiday in your very comfortable home . Plenty of space for 6 adults ,child and dogs. Will definitely return !
We visited Rhosneigr with our adult children and their husbands and boyfriends. The cottage was ideal for our stay with everything we needed. Our only snag was that one of the twin bedrooms had rather small beds and with all the lads being over 6ft this was not the most comfy. but they didn't complain. we had a lovely time together, the facilities were good
Spacious, airy and uplifting seaside cottage.
Have just returned from four nights in this lovely cottage feeling completely rested and refreshed. It is in a great location with lovely views and walkable to the charming beachside village of Rhosneigr.
The cottage has a lovely feel to it which sits perfectly within the gentle surroundings of this lovely unspoilt part of the world.
We are hooked and would love to return.
Rhosneigr is a place where you can be busy on the sea, sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, kitesurfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. There are three beautiful beaches, great
for walking the dog or just relaxing taking in the views. The main high street has two clothing and surfing shops as well as a larger shop near Main beach called Funsurf, with bar and cafe above. Also on the High Street you can find Mojo's, great for pancakes and coffee, there's a laundrette, very nice chip shop, two newsagents, chemist, gift shop, Sandy's Bar and Bistro, and if you like ice cream then Chaplins is a must. The Oyster Catcher Restaurant, which you will see on your way out of Rhosneigr has a good atmosphere and very nice food, below the restaurant is Wills Bar, in summer having sandy floors, in winter a ski theme. Opposite the Oyster Catcher is Maelog Lake, its a nice walk with wooden walkways, and stunning views of Snowdonia. If you fancy a day out then a short drive is Newborough Forrest, a great place for walking and wildlife, if your lucky you might spot a red squirrel. At the end of the forest you will find Llanddwyn Beach, a quiet beach with golden sands and clear water. Another place to visit is Beaumaris. There's Beaumaris Castle, which is an interesting place to look round, and the kids really enjoy it. If you have children then you will have to go crab fishing off the pier, you can buy buckets, bait and lines from the pier shop. South Stack is also a great place for walking, with stunning views. If the weather is not behaving the kids would enjoy Anglesey Sea Zoo. There are many other places to see and things to do such as Ziplining in Snowdonia or climbing Snowdon, there are some nice restaurants in Triada Bay and The White Eagle in Rhoscolyn is very well known. Whatever you do or wherever you go I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
