September sanctuary

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful bungalow for the month of September. The location is great, you can walk to just about anywhere you would want to go on the island. The bungalow is quite comfortable and very well equipped. The patio is a nice size so it makes the whole place seem more spacious. I definitely recommend staying here and I look forward to staying again myself. Lisa is a gracious host and very accommodating!

Lisa's bungalow felt like home to me for the 3 months I was there!

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable, bright, cheerfully decorated, fully stocked bungalow in a quiet area on Coronado Island. I was there for 3 months and was sad to leave because it just felt like "home". Lisa is very attentive to any questions or problems that come up! Neighbors are very sweet and friendly! I highly recommend this bungalow to anyone visiting Coronado!!

LOVELY RETREAT!!

  • 5 of 5

This property is just as it appears = a tiny gem in a perfect location! The owners (Lisa & James) are amazing with the attention to detail and the desire to be sure that this cottage exceeds expectations. What they have done with this 1943 property is the envy of the neighbors - many of whom we were pleased to meet. The cottage is in a "group" of like buildings that take up the front half of one block in this little city of Coronado. The building stands alone with a nice expanse of manicured lawn in the front and windows on every wall for loads of natural light, plus a pleasant patio. A 15 - 20 minute walk in one direction takes you to the Hotel Del Coronado / Pacific Ocean, and the same distance in the other direction takes you to San Diego Bay and the Ferry Landing. Lots of options for shopping, eating, touring, or just relaxing are all within an easy walk, or a quick drive over the beautiful bridge to San Diego. We especially loved the fascinating history of this little city and the fact that it is still a vibrant destination. A big THANK YOU to Lisa & James - we will be back again!! Meanwhile, dear friends have already decided on a Coronado celebration and will see you soon - we know they will be delighted with their decision!

Owner's Response: Margie, I'm so glad you enjoyed the bungalow and took in all Coronado has to offer from the bungalow's walkable location! I agree, it is a gem of a town, very quiet and walkable. So much to see around Coronado, and a quick trip over the bridge to take in various sites around San Diego. Looking forward to seeing you and Steve again in the future! Lisa

Perfect in every way.....(almost)

  • 5 of 5

I made a great choice deciding to go to Coronado for a month and stay in Lisa's adorable bungalow. All of Coronado is walkable. Lisa's bungalow is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood within easy walking distance from the Ferry Landing on one end to the Hotel Del Coronado and beaches on the other end, as well as wonderful shops and restaurants in between. The bungalow is very comfortable, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. It accommodated my husband and myself, myself alone, then additional, overnight guests very nicely. This listing absolutely deserves the five-star rating I've given it. What made my stay (almost) perfect was the weather. I happened to choose the coldest, wettest January on record, but "Who knew?"!!!

Owner's Response: It was a pleasure meeting you, Sheryl, and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the bungalow. I'm happy you found the location so central for taking in all Coronado has to offer, and the quiet neighborhood is a plus! You'll have to come back and enjoy the bungalow in a sunnier month!
