We are Kostas, a native of the island, and Elisa, who loved it and made it her home. Kostas works with wood, Elisa with languages and food. We are keen travelers and love to discover new places and cultures, and we try to help our guests discover ours. We live on the island, apart from when we travel, so we will be around to help with whatever you may need.Kostas will give you excellent advice and tips to make the best of your stay here. Beautiful villa, stunning views, romantic city.
The location was perfect - just a short walk to the main square, and only 10 mins walk from the port. There were not TOO many steps to get to the villa but even so once in the room, it was well, well worth it. There room had the most beautiful views over the whole city and the sea, which was the most amazing way to wake up every day. The villa itself has been beautifully restored and makes you feel like you are staying in part of real Syros. Our host Kostas was super friendly gave us some recommendations - all of which we actually did and they were all great!
Thank you very much and hope to host you again!
Map
Ermoupolis is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece, full of historical neoclassical mansions, lively market, idyllic cobblestone streets lined with cafes and restaurants, an open-air cinema and a fabulous opera house (Apollo)where international musical events and festivals -like the festival of the Aegean-take place every summer.
Syros is ideally located in the heart of the Cyclades and many islands such as Tinos, Myconos, Naxos, Paros, Sifnos, Serifos, are just a couple of hours boat ride, perfect for day- trips.
Syros can offer a unique combination of culture and nature. Whether you are after an opera festival, nature trails with breathtaking sea views or sandy beaches, you will find it here!
