Lovely home with lots of space in quiet location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the layout of the house and it accommodated our family well; it is nice to have three king size beds! The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We cooked almost every night, and would have liked to have had a few more large serving/mixing bowls, but were able to manage with what was there. We would highly recommend this property.

Owner's Response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay in our lake home. Thanks for your suggestion to add more large serving bowls. We will definitely make that happen.

The owners were prompt in answering all our questions regarding our stay. The house was very clean and suited our crew of 16 perfectly. The rooms were all very large and very clean. The dock was great for swimming and relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

ideal lakeside family vacation home

Really cool house with a 1970s vibe and great floor plan. Super comfortable and very clean. Enjoyed the dock and swimming in the lake. Well stocked kitchen. Kids room not ideal for adults, but super fun air hockey.

Perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

If your family is seeking a clean, quiet, private home with all the room to suit guests of many generations, then look no further. Working with the owners was a seamless and wonderful experience. The home is clean, well situated, stocked with clean linens (I LOVED the soft blankets) and a well appointed kitchen. (2 coffee pots!) We enjoyed a week floating in the lake, Kayaking, ( 2 are owner provided), boating, water-skiing and wake-boarding and paddle boarding. ( local rentals are great!) We thought we would dine out every night, but we loved the home so much we cooked all but 2 of 7 nights. It was perfect. Keowee is a long trip for us (over 10 hours) but if we can rent this home again, it is worth every mile and every minute of the trip! Hope to have the privilege of renting again!

Why Dan or Sandra Staley chose Seneca

We purchased this property after renting a house on Lake Keowee for a first ever gathering of all our children and grandchildren. We all fell in love with Lake Keowee because of its incredibly clear water. When we purchased this property, our goal was to make it the most comfortable, pleasant family retreat that we could possibly create. We think we have been successful, and we hope our renters will have as much fun and make as many wonderful memories as we know we will while staying in our Perfect Family Retreat on Lake Keowee.
