Cutest Oldtown Villa!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time staying here. So close to Oldtown, wonderful restaurants and a $10 Uber to all the hottest neighborhoods in SD! The villa is perfedt for 2 couples, has a huge yard and a wonderful fire pit. We would love to stay again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Just as shown in the pictures!

  • 5 of 5

We went for my husbands SD one day Birthday getaway celebration. Wish we had more time in the area. Great hidden location and walking distance to Old Town SD. Our family enjoyed our short stay.

I would visit again in the future. Thanks for accommodating us and responding promptly, Louise!

I am sorry to have to write a poor review when we didn't even get a chance to stay there - this is based on bad service. I booked this property 4 weeks in advance, through the property manager. She assured me that payment was not needed until day of arrival. I thought that was off but I was in contact with her throughout the 4 weeks through multiple email exchanges, asking questions about the property and making sure we could still get checked-in. I always received a response in a timely manner, assuring me about the property, making me feel comfortable. TWO DAYS BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL I contacted her to see if we were meeting at the property and how I should pay (check or cash) and she returned my email to say sorry she booked with someone else. Just like that. This is completely unprofessional and just very inconsiderate. Me and 4 of my girlfriends had a really nice trip planned and we are coming from out of town. Now we have less than 48 hours to try and find somewhere to stay. I am very upset and had no choice but to write this review. Horrible service.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

Our stay here was good. We loved the location as we love the restaurants in Old Town and could walk. The courtyard was nice with the fire pit. My husband, our college aged daughter and I stayed here and having a second bathroom was great. The Villas to us would a bit odd not rented together as one. The refrigerator was not working in the front one and the washer and dryer would only be accessible if the front one was rented. We found it odd that someones clothes and things were in the back villa bedroom closet. We planned to stay 5 nights, but left after 4 as we were all congested by something in the villas. The smell was not very pleasant upon arrival and perhaps it was strong cleaners or something to try and cover up other odors. The temperature was unseasonably cold and the units have portable heaters and small wall units which took awhile to warm up the place. We like to be outdoors so if you were able to sit outdoors with pleasant weather, the property would be more comfortable as it was a beautiful courtyard and yard. Parking right in front of the unit on the street. Beds were comfortable. We brought our own linens and towels so I can't comment on those, but they looked nice. If all you need is a comfy bed, a great location to old town and a clean bathroom this is it!
