Enjoy this charming Littleton carriage house that is lovingly designed to highlight the historic charm. It is an ideal romantic getaway or solo retreat near Old Downtown Littleton for business or pleasure.

The causal, upscale decor is encompassed with all of the amenities of home and then some, such as the backdrop of an 18ft barn-wood wall, attached garage, all new kitchen appliances, travertine walk-in shower, new queen bed and full size washer and dryer.

The unbeatable location will provide quick access to downtown Denver city life on the light rail and points of interest all around town, or an easy walk to enjoy the beautiful, historic Old Downtown Littleton with many restaurants and shops.

The attached garage will be a great convienience. It will fit a sedan or small SUV like a RAV4. For larger vehicles, there is a parking spot alongside the carriage house next to the garage.

Stay a few days, a week or a month and create joyful memories lasting a lifetime.

There is not a cleaning fee unless extensive cleaning needs to be completed, then additional charges will apply. I have only had to charge this one time.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Something about this place just beckoned me. The vaulted ceiling up in the loft, the inviting daybed, the barn door for the bathroom! The kitchen is so new and tidy and what really got me was the reclaimed wood used as a backsplash. For some reason reclaimed wood and Colorado go hand-in-hand. Anjeli, the owner, was so gracious with being flexible with my arrival time and dates that I wanted. I felt safe and comfortable in Littleton. The washer and dryer came in handy. And I can't say enough -- when you look out of any window you see beautiful scenery! The bed was comfortable with ample storage underneath. Everything worked out so well I would definitely stay here again. And by the way, did I mention that it has unlimited hot water? Don't overthink it, just book it! You'll be happy you did!

Our visit

  • 5 of 5

We spent the month of September at the cottage and just loved it. The property was great, location was great and most importantly the owner was great. The home was very clean and everything worked exactly as adverized.

We spent the month riding bikes(we brought ours), walking and generally visiting with friends and family. We have a 4 year old granddaughter who simply loved the cottage.

Conveniently located, well appointed and comfortable Carriage House

  • 5 of 5

I had the opportunity to stay at the Carriage House during the month of August and found it delightful in all ways. The Carriage House is a well appointed, tastefully decorated house which is conveniently located close to wonderful restaurants, boutique shopping and mass transit. Although it was in the 90's when I was in Littleton, I found that with the upper loft windows open and the ceiling fan on it was very comfortable sleeping, in fact I requested an additional blanket which the owner was more than happy to provide for me. There is a outdoor courtyard which has a barbeque and patio table which is a great place to have a meal.

I would highly recommend this Carriage House and am making plans to revisit during the holidays.

Anniversary Trip

  • 1 of 5

My wife and I stayed in the cottage for our visit to Denver. Upon our arrival we were surprised that we had to enter the cottage through a back alley and not from a main street. There was no main entry door but instead you entered through the garage. The cottage was nicely decorated on the inside. The home did not have any central cooling and there was a portable AC unit on the floor with a hose exiting a partially opened window. There was another cooling/humidifier unit upstairs and the directions stated we needed to keep it filled with water to allow it to cool. By late afternoon we learned the 90 degree Denver temps were no match for the insufficient AC. The temps in the cottage were in the 80s each evening. When using the shower, the on demand water heater would stop working and the shower would turn cold. We had to turn the shower off wait a minute and then turn it back on to get hot water again. In the evening if we turned on both sets of overhead lights the breaker would trip and we would have to go outside to reset it. For our visit their were only 2 towels and no washcloths provided upon check in. We communicated our concerns with the owner and she said she would take note of them. She did provide more towels and washcloths for our visit and even refunded us 1 nights rent for our problems during the visit.

The interior design in this cottage is amazing but the overall functionality and performance of the systems is terrible. We hope the owner is able to take our suggestions that were communicated to her during our stay and through this review and improve the rental experience for future guest.

Owner's Response: Some renters are difficult people as this renter was. There is not much I can do about it. As you can see, all of my previous reviews are 5 stars, for both my current rental of the carriage house and my house last summer which is on the same property. The issues the renter communicated to me was late at night prior to their departure in the morning. Renters enter the garage through the ally to park their car in the garage. It can also be accessed from the street by walking through a flagstone pathway in my yard, to the carriage house courtyard - the front door. Most renters enjoy the privacy and convenience coming and going through the garage. Most people actually enter their own home through their garage. It was an oversight of the cleaner (my daughter) to not put extra towels in the bathroom. If the renter had mentioned this prior to their last night, it would and was easily remedied. The hot water on demand system is usually enjoyed by renters because you can never run out of hot water. The renter did not address this issue until the night prior to departure. It is easily remedied with an adjustment to the system. The renter complained about the temperature, the night prior to their departure. Since then I purchased a 10,000 BTU air conditioner for the upstairs to go along with the one downstairs which works well. As I was getting ready to install it for the current renters, they asked me to wait until after they left because they enjoyed having the windows open. It cools down nicely to the 60's at night in the summer. Next week the high will be 88 and low for that same day is 59. There are two upstairs windows and I will install it after these renters leave so that it is not an issue in the future. The carriage house will have 2 10,000 BTU units which will easily cool the space. I am easily accessible to renters and fix any issue immediately. I received a long unhappy email from these renters at the end of their stay. There is not much I can do when a renter provides a litany of issues the night before they leave. Even though I could have solved almost all of their issues, if communicated during their stay, I wanted to leave the relationship on a good note and gave them a 25% refund of their rental. He cashed the check prior to writing the review. I do my best to provide a comfortable vacation home but cannot control what renters write in their review. Luckily, the majority of my renters are lovely people who enjoy their visit in Colorado.

Week long stay

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home with lots of character and charm. Lots of nearby activities, walking distance to downtown littleton and lots of parks and trails. Easy to quickly get into Denver. The owner was wonderful and let us use her highchair and even brought over lots of toys for our little ones. She was also very responsive to questions and always willing to help do anything to make our stay more comfortable. So much better than any hotel and at a great price!

LOVED the Carriage House

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the Carriage House in Littleton. It was a great location to downtown Littleton and not too bad of a drive to Denver.

This property had an excellent use of space with gorgeous windows in the kitchen space. Loved the shiplap too!

Definitely an ideal place to stay for a short weekend or even a long term duration.

We would book again in a heartbeat.

Ideal long-term stay!

  • 5 of 5

The Carriage House was our "home-away-from-home" for almost two months while our own house was being renovated. It couldn't have been more perfect for the two of us! The location was ideal (short walk to downtown Littleton , the light rail station and tons of hiking/biking paths!) and the home is very cozy and comfortable. The reclaimed wood wall is a gorgeous focal point for the space and it was very convenient having a washer/dryer onsite. The owner is very responsive to any questions and was very easy to work with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! It must be amazing in the summer as the grounds are beautiful.
