lovely home in a great neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

I think my title says it all, this is a great house and it is centrally located. Close to town and close to the freeway and most importantly to all my favorite Paso Robles Wineries/Vineyards.

I gave it a 4 star mostly because of a the following minor reasons, everything else was fabulous.

-The auto mode for the heater doesn't work, you have to turn the fan to on in order for the central heating system to kick in.

-The bathroom toilet doesn't flush since the stopper has a leak. The tank fills up and the water slowly leaks out and leaves the tank empty

-The bed in the 2nd bedroom is uncomfortable and small and it seems to be one of those fold up beds.

-The bathroom floor on the master bedroom is very slippery and if you're not careful you can go down hard

Beautiful view!

  • 4 of 5

The home is nice and comfortable. I gave it 4 stars only because it wasn't cleaned well. Dishes in dishwasher, laundry in dryer, and used soap in showers. Master shower is really tiny and old. Those are minor easy fixes. Other than that, it's a great place to stay!

Owner's Response: Michelle, thank you for your kind words. I did speak with my cleaning service - she's been with me for years. She said there was 1 glass in the dish washer and it was hers - which I don't think is a problem. I personally cleaned the window sills and windows the week prior and sprayed for the fall bug and spider season as we do each year. The towels in the dryer is because it was a back to back reservation and our cleaning service only has a very short time to clean such a large area. Shampoo's and soaps are always forgotten by prior guest and we remind everyone to take their soaps with them. Please come back to see us as I know you had a wonderful stay. Thank you again for addressing this - All the best Francie Beaman

Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to stay at a comfortable home for our daughter's wedding weekend. It was about 105/110 degrees during the rehearsal and the wedding. Despite the heat both events were so much fun. Everyone had a great time. It was so nice to come back to a home to relax. It was prefect.

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

The house was roomy and comfortable. One bedroom has a Murphy bed which was obnoxious. The doors of the closet hindered access to the room and the bed. It was a quiet location. The key entry system is brilliant.

A Wonderful Stay

  • 4 of 5

We were very impressed with this home and our family had a wonderful stay. We had family in from Germany and wanted to all be together instead of separate hotel rooms. Was very centrally located and we got to see quite a few things in the area and enjoyed coming home to this house eating dinner and hanging out.

Thank you for letting us share your home!

Paso Robles is the heart of world class wine tasting, we're located in the center of East and West side wineries. Driving through the scenic vineyards is the perfect getaway, pack your lunch and picnic at any of the wineries, concerts are featured at many of the wineries throughout the year. You can stroll through the farmers market in Old Town Paso to purchase local produce, or make an appointment for the perfect massage. There is a movie theatre for the movie goers and fun pubs for all ages. For the bikers, Paso offers a map for the cycling trails throughout the country side.

Paso also offers Craft Beers for the beer oficionado, Firestone Brewery offers free tours by appointment plus a pub serving casual fare such as steaks & pizza, just take 101 south and get off of 46 west and make a left and go under the freeway and another left at Ramada Rd., The Barrel House located in the same area - look for the signs off the same exit. My favorite place to eat is McPhee's on Main St. in Templeton, Ca just 7 miles south on hwy 101.

If your in the mood to kick up your heels, check out The Paso Robles Inn for Dancing, Pine Street Saloon for Karaoke, the Down Town Brewing Company and The Poor House on the south end of Pine St for live music and Pappy Mac Gregors for dancing all night. The Hotel Cheval is less than a block from the historic town square, this elegant boutique bar is a 2-minute walk from local ART at Studios on the Park. For the outdoors water lover, Lake Nacimiento is located 10 miles West for day camping, you can rent boats or kayaks at the lake.
